I installed this monitor over 3 years ago in our F450 31ft RV. Is about time to change batteries and is the only service I have need to do after initial setup and several thousand miles of driving. I have never lost connection to the wheels and very few times I have had the need to charge it via USB. Excellent product.

I installed this on my class A motorhome with six wheels.Unit was easy to install. The most difficult part was on my dual rear wheels I had to remove the outer wheel to gain access to the valve stem of the inner wheel to install the locking nut and the pressure sensor. Not the monitor's fault, you would need to do that with any system of this type.The monitor works well and I like the ability to see each wheel simultaneously. I do find it difficult to see the display during the daytime as the display is not bright enough to overcome the ambient light. I moved it to a darker area and that solved that problem, it's just not where I intended to place it.It gives me peace of mind knowing my tires are monitored and I get an audible and visual alert if there's a loss of signal or drop in pressure or a temperature out of range.In hindsight I would have liked to have enough sensors to monitor the spare tire and the vehicle we tow behind the RV. There are systems available with that many sensors but you cannot see all pressures at once, you have to wait for them to scroll by or manually select them.

I couldn't fathom spending so much on other TPMS's; when it seemed like reasonably cheap technology to make. However I also got scared of some of the cheaper ones with some distance limitations. This fell in the middle and came w/ the repeater and has worked fantastic. Gives an instant mental relief while driving down the road. 28' TT - no issues.Note: I was slightly confused on readings at boot up - it seems to show the 'last contact' reading; the sensors seem to broadcast or 'power up' with motion (probably battery saving technology) - so if you're checking pressure prior to a trip - you'll want to drive forward/backward a few feet or twist off/back on the sensors.Anyhow - being the only TPMS I've ever owned (other than what's built into newer cars) - I don't have anything to rate it against - but it definitely does the job!

I have not installed the system yet so I can’t say how the system works yet. What I can say is that the instructions are horrible. Programming is very difficult. In fact I haven’t figured it out yet. I received a repeater with absolutely no instructions on how to install. Seems to be a nice product but to early to tell. Would think about returning but had to pretty much destroy the packaging to open. So I will continue to try to figure it out and install to use. More to learn.Second review. Once I figured out how to program the display unit, it seems to work pretty well. I installed the sensors and it seemed to respond perfectly. The accuracy is good. Haven’t used them on a trip yet, but expecting good things. So for now I’ll raise it to four stars.

I purchased two of these. First one was three years ago …The first one worked great, temperature and pressure parameters are factory set now,and I can’t get them to change. Also, you could replace the batteries before it appears there’s no way to get the sensors open now to replace batteries. Unit looks the same, sensors do not look the same. The wrench to open them did not come with this order because it does not appear they still open. Although the wrench is pictured in the description. Directions are very difficult now, I attempted to change parameters for two hours un successfully

Used this on a high mileage 24ft flatbed trailer. Being pulled with a crew cab long bed ram. Kit came with a range extender but was not needed dispite the long distance from truck dash (where I put receiver) all the way back to trailer wheels. I mention tow rig only to empahise how much distance there is between sensors and receiver. The solar panel seems to provide enough power to the receiver so that I never had to plug it in. The sensors seem to be fairly accurate given that I checked the pressure in each tire before installing so that I had a base line to compare to. The kit also includes instructions on how to change batteries in the sensors. They appear to be standard size batteries used in watches so that you should have no issues finding replacements if needed. Has been a little over 3 months and the batteries haven't gone bad. Highly recommend for anyone that owns a trailer. I will be buying a second kit for my personal trailer.

Overall it works but while driving the rear tires mainly inners loose communication with unit. Drove 400 miles yesterday and inner tires lost communication 5-6 times during drive. My rv is only 32 feet. Display to tires about 24ft and i even left display in middle of rv and still dropped communication

When it showed up it was beeping and on in the box. That was a little weird. I only use it for my trailer and it sits in my dark glove box when not in use. It can sit in the glove box with no light and it is still charged from a one day drive (solar/charge) about 30 days later. The battery is amazing. Never even had to charge it with a cord.I use this on a 40 foot 5th wheel. I put the repeater in the front garage and clip it to the battery using $2 cheap alligator clips. Seems accurate and is great peace of mind. I suspect more expensive versions have an off switch, but it works well.

Got the 6 tire minder version for our class A.Fairly easy to get going. When you press set and hold, you then can cycle through all the settings one after the other. It took a while to figure out how to get to a specific setting without having to adjust everything along the way, but once you figure that out you're laughing.I didn't stick mine to the dash yet. There's a spot where it can sit on our dash and it stays in that little area all by itself.Pretty decent for the price.

Despite the somewhat challenging instructions, I was so impressed with this TPMS for my Pleasure way camper. The packaging was excellent with the transmitters all well protected in foam tunnels. The device was so easy and clear to read notably when it was sunny. No glare or awkward to see PSI’s. The pad to sit it on worked perfectly on my dash and stayed in place.Back to the instructions; I am not a techy so I would have welcomed more of the obvious bits like.... the transmitters are numbered to match the device pictures of tyres. I found that out the hard way. After a while the instructions swam before the eyes and then suddenly it clicked as to what to do. The set up is easier than the instructions made it out to be. Maybe that’s just me. Anyway, the TPMS works well. It picks up solar easy and I love having the USB port charge options for those grey, depressing days. So all is good. Totally recommended. Very visible, accurate and will make for a safer drive. Adding the transmitters is easy. Put the lock nuts on first and then screw those babies on IN THE RIGHT ORDER as they are numbered. So easy.
