Fun and Engaging Phonics Game for Kids!
This phonics game is absolutely fantastic! It makes learning to read fun, interactive, and engaging for young children. The game is well-designed with bright colors, playful elements, and age-appropriate challenges that help kids build confidence in their reading skills. I love how it keeps my child entertained while reinforcing important phonics concepts. It’s easy to set up, and the instructions are simple enough for kids to follow independently. Perfect for both home and classroom use! Highly recommend for any parent or teacher looking to make phonics learning exciting and effective.

Perfect for my small groups!
I teach a phonics based program to small groups and, on Fridays, I like to play games with my students. This set is perfect! It has beginning, middle and ending sounds, as well as zlfs endings and digraph endings. I especially love practicing missing vowels with my students. There's two games with missing vowels- one is an easy CVC game and the other has zlfs and digraph endings. One thing that I wish this set had, would be one more spinner. There's only one in the set, and there's two back to back game boards. To combat this issue, I purchased some spinners from dollar tree and made my own. Also note that there are not four separate game boards. These are two back to back game boards. However, for the price, they are a terrific resource to have. When we play, I give my students a gummy bear or goldfish every time they pronounce the word correctly - they know that some of the words are going to be silly. This also helps with the c/k rule. If they land on a word that begins with a c, they need to make sure they spin the correct vowel to go with the c to make the /k/ sound. If they land on i or e, I allow them to spin again. My students would give this a gazillion stars!! They look forward to fun Friday and learning while having fun and practicing their strategies. This is definitely a winner with this teacher!!

Game review
The phonics games are great except for when the consonant letter c is used with words that have an I or e it changes the sound and the students do not know that rule. I wish that the letter c on the spinner had a slash and a letter k next to it. My students who knew the soft c rule did fine. Also, I wish the letters on the spinner faced a better on the spinner. The same direction as the board game. They do have a line under the letter to help determine which one, but I had to turn the board for my students to determine which one was chosen. I also liked how fake words can be used in the game too. Overall, I did like all of the games for children who understand the phonics rules.

This is a good tool
Great for practice and reinforcement. The variety gives various kinds of word practice and keeps kids from tiring of the same game every time.

Great phonics game for kids!
As a teacher, this is one of the most asked for games with my K-1 students. It is the perfect game to practice different phonemic awareness and phonics skills. I love that the game board is 2-sided with 4 different activities to choose from. Once I explain the rules of the game, it is very easy for students to pick up on how to play.
