Comfort 3 Men's Refillable 3-Blade Razors with 1 Handle and 12 Cartridges, Smooth Shave Razor Set for Men

Like many men I have permanently sworn off Gillette products. For a while I was using the "BIC" single blade "Metal" disposable razor. Since I found those satisfactory I decided to try a little more deluxe product from the brand. That turned out to be a very good decision. These may be the best shaving and most comfortable disposable razors I have ever used. I don't show you everyday because I have a Van Dyke (Mustache/goatee combination) so sometimes a beard with a day or two growth actually looks complimentary..... I only mentioned that because I have found the cartridges to be very durable and give several comfortable, close shaves before needing to be replaced: In fact I'm still using the same cartridge to shave, I haven't had to replace it yet.

Best shave I've had in years. I'm in the military and have to shave everyday. I've been maining brands like Gillette and Schick my entire life. I've always had a bit of reserverance for BIC, as I've seen them as a Budget Brand, which they are... but this particular Razor is actually more of a clean and comfortable shave than both those brands. I've been gettings lots of Cuts and In-Growns recently with the competitor's multi razer configs. Even on fresh new blades, they snag my skin and hair constantly. Dropping from 5 Blade Configs to BIC's 3 Blade Config is not only safer for my skin, it's most comfortable. Less is More and in this case, BIC is now my favorite Price to Performance King and will be shifting over to this brand as my daily driver. Better Prices for Cartridges. Better Shaves. This is a win.

Great Razers and a Good Price !!

I had a razor that used refillable blades years ago. WHo knows what style the razor is, they dont have the name stamped anywhere on the handle. fortunately now razors for disposable blades arent that expensive anymore. But getting past that, I had grown tired of trying to get close with a single dispoable blade. Sometimes now matter how many times you go back and forth, it isnt getting under the neck well, or close anywhere. I'm finding, that if I use a single blade disposable, then use this comfort, it gets really close. This triple blade can be a little grabby if you only shave every 3 or 4 days. the single blade seems to remove the stubble gentler, and then this triple blade gets closer than the single blade, and is very comfrotable once the stuble is decreased. Until I find something else, a single disposable, followed by this triple blade is what i was hoping for. Maybe if I used it every day, just using the triple blade would be fine.

I shave my head and face with only a small beard and mustache. Pros: I've now tried three differnt safety razors, multiple disposable razors, online razor brands, and electric razors. The price at the time of writing this review makes these Bic Hybrid 3 Comfort razors the best for the price. Definitely shave better than all other budget options I've tried. Cons: I've had better shaves with the expensive Gillette 5 blade razors. But unfortunately I've also had worse with the 5 blade razors. Very inconsistent in sharpness. So rather than get a 20 pack of expensive dull 5 blade razors I chose these budget razors that work quite well consistently. Cons: With the Bic razors I do get Knicks if I'm not careful shaving over bumps. I do rinse out the blade a few times while shaving to avoid plugging up. Update: I received these razors November 28th 2022. I shave twice a week. This is the 4th week and I'm still using the same razor. Shaved just like the first time. If this pattern continues with the rest of the razors in the pack this really is the best most affordable option. I'll try to remember to update as time goes on. Update: it's March 2023 and I am finding these razors last me 5 weeks per razor shaving 3 times a week. That has really surprised me. Great value.

These razors do the job, but that’s about it. The blades are not very sharp, so the shave isn’t especially close, particularly if you have thicker or coarser hair. To get a decent result you often need to apply more pressure, which can easily lead to small cuts and skin irritation. Overall, they are functional and usable for basic shaving, but the experience is far from smooth or premium. The pivoting head and three-blade design are fine, nothing exceptional. That said, considering you get 12 cartridges for the price, there isn’t much to complain about. They work, they last a reasonable amount of time, and expectations should be kept realistic. Bottom line: decent for the price, nothing impressive, and not ideal for sensitive skin or those looking for a very close, comfortable shave.
