Skin fits keyboard perfectly. Sometimes I have a slight bit of trouble when hitting keys...not sure if it's because of the skin or the way I strike the keys that certain keys doesn't always make that connection every time I hit it????? Other than that it's great, great value for the money. Not too thick, not too thin...just right. You can see the keys clearly....very easy to clean...use mild soap and water...I personally use a towel (slightly damp, NOT soak & wet)....wipe it down (gently), let it dry, put it back on. They lasts a long while, not sure how long (this is my 2nd one).....the longevity of product will solely depend on how frequently you use your computer...if a casual user, skin will last for months on end, but if you use your computer heavily (like for work & personal use) then you may need to have a backup just in case. NOTE: if you get the colored skins...the color will fade (become worn) especially on the keys that are hit most frequently (such as the vowels).....although the color fades the skin is still entact..(have a red one and clear skin)

I have ordered several styles of these and continue to use them regularly as I am at my computer typing for many hours a day. They are such a close fit to the keyboard that there is no unwanted slippage or movement of the keyboard cover around the keys on the keyboard. It works seamlessly and I typically keep an extra in stock just so I don't have to worry when I do wear one out. (Note: I am extremely hard on my keyboards as a writer). For the price and quality I will continue to order these as long as my keyboard stays working. The only issue I've ever had was I once received (I forget which color it was) that the color overlay seemed to rub off on my fingers almost immediately. I contacted the company and had a new one shipped immediately at no extra charge. I've used quite a few of these now and have found that not to be an ongoing, but rather an isolated, issue. I switched to the clear skin purely to see if I liked being able to see through it to my own keyboard letters as opposed to the letters printed on the skin, and for me personally I like this more. But the color options and variations let you decide what suits your needs the best. My only comment to the manufacturer would be I wish they had a more extensive line of keyboard covers available for other keyboards, and they well may and I just haven't found them yet. As a matter of fact I am getting ready to order another just to have it here so when I need it.

I'm quite impressed by the quality of this product. I've had problems with my mac keyboard before, cause if you wipe it down with anything that's remotely moist, it'll pretty much render it useless. It also is quite the crumb and debris magnet for getting anything under the keys. So, I wanted to get something to prevent that from happening again and actually keep the design integrity of the keyboard. This keyboard cover fit the bill. It's a cool design and was easy as dropping on the keyboard to install. There is a slight gap between the cover and the keyboard, but it doesn't effect me in anyway, because I keep my keyboard stationary, so my fingers / palms don't nudge the gaps. It does come in packaging that if you place it on your keyboard, you'll think, "CRAP, it's the wrong size". But pull it out of there, it's slightly folded so, don't worry, it's the right fit. It does add some slight resistance to the keys, but I'm fine with that, because it's pretty minimal. I actually also kinda like the slight grip from the cover on the keys, makes my typing feel a lot more direct and meaningful. There are some cool features, it has raised bumps at the F and J keys so you don't lose your hand placement. There is also a window for the LED light for the Caps lock key. Overall I'm quite impressed in this product considering other variations often cost several times higher than it. I highly recommend it as a great way to keep that keyboard clean and maintain the minimalist design.

So a couple of years ago I managed to spill something I was drinking all over my keyboard. It never did work right after that and I eventually just had to replace it. My bad... I was clumsy. Still, I realized I had been irritated even before that just by how dingy the keyboard itself had started to look. I thought surely there had to be something out there that would protect the keyboard, but not interfere with my typing (I really dislike anything that makes keystrokes feel unnatural). Given how inexpensive these were, I figured they were worth a shot. Since then, I've gone through two sets (I have 2 keyboards, one for my personal and one for my work computer). No, these don't last forever... or rather, if you use them a lot, the numbers and keys fade away and it just starts looking dingy all on its own. Still, it can handle a lot of abuse before you need to replace it (I spend a lot of time at my computer). Plus, I know from experience they protect a keyboard well from spills (I did mention I'm clumsy, right?). They fit the keys perfectly and you won't even notice they're there when you type. If you do spill something, simply wipe it up or even take the cover off and clean it under water... no big deal. Your keyboard is fine. Personally, I won't have a keyboard without one again.

Made working and studying more enjoyable lol lasted at least 8 months before colours started to phase which is pretty good considering its price.

Make sure you order the correct cover for your keyboard. This fits Apple Wired Keyboard A1243 perfectly. I have managed to trash 2 keyboards from spills, hoping this will save the headache for any future spills. Bought this and so far it is great! I ordered a second cover for my work keyboard. It takes a few days to to get used to the new "feel". For all fellow accident prone people, I highly recommend!!

My shopping experience buying this keyboard cover has been fantastic. I made the error of initially buying the wrong keyboard cover size which was quickly returned back to Amazon and refunded immediately. I absolutely love the keyboard cover. It fits snuggly over the keys and it is very comfortable surface. The different hues of blue is absolutely stunning and really elevates keyboard use to the next level. I would definitely recommend these keyboard covers to anyone looking for one in the future. Update: Although the keyboard cover does a great job protecting my keyboard, the colours on the cover are on top rather than underneath thus the paint rubbed away quickly after a short time. The colour should be either on the underside, or there should be a layer with the colour between two layers of rubber.
