I attend conventions and to save money, my group often shoves less than ideal amounts of people in one hotel room. I got this to make each of us a key after a couple of scary instances in DC that could have been avoided had we all had a key to the room/hotel, but I have yet to get it to work. I have only tried in 2 hotels, each of which had key cards that should have been readable but apparently werent. Will update if i can get it to work for that, but i really feel like its just not possible to use them on up to date hotel key cards. (and i did watch the full info video, I am following all the instructions. it should be fairly simple.

At first I wasn't sure how it works and what is needed to activate "the ring" (sold separately) but finally , it works my apartment manager is having conniption fits about the complexes security. Only because she doesn't understand how it's operate. . Well she is not the "sharpest knife in the drawer.

This technology is hit or miss this did not work for me. I returned it but my friend had the exact same one and it worked so that’s why I said it’s hit or miss and I even ordered a really expensive one for like $60 and I had to return that one too. this one didn’t read or write And the expensive one read but it didn’t write. I might try to order one more just to give it another shot.

The handheld receiver I got wasn't quite able to read/copy/write all the cards that we know do work.

Tryed a few different fobs an cards an nothing only seems to read fobs thst come with it

It completely worked for me ,check first the frequency before buying it.

Buy at your own risk!!! The product did not work, it actually erased or de-magnetized the original host RFID card. I instead I had to request a replacement card which cost me $60 plus a lot of red tape.

It works like a charm!
