Is this all copper or copper clad aluminum (cca) core? heard there is a difference between the two, want to be sure.

All copper. AudioQuest is very honest about their products. They are not the superior cables and inter connects I first bought in the late 80’s early 90’s, but they are still quality gear for entry level.

do i need spade connectors or the go right in like regular wires?

Personally I prefer bare wire connections into speaker terminals. Make sure your speaker terminals can handle 14 AWG wire. They ought to, but be sure. I love these wires for speakers. They sound great and do not restricts the sound. If you have runs of over 50’, you have a judgement call to make. Over 50’ you might want to run 12AWG wire to account for voltage loss. I have found the 14AWG are sufficient.
