The difference is in the details. This is now the third attempt to get a socket adapter that is electrically safe and made well. This particular brand is the only brand that passes my safety and electrical safety tests and is reasonably priced. I was trained early in life as an electrician and household electricity is very dangerous, so please forgive me if I come across strongly. Adapters like these must have polarized plug blades. It is hard to see from product description pictures if a brand has polarized plugs. The first two brands did not. This is important because if the electrical prongs are the same width and you push the adapter in the wrong way, the screw side of the light bulb can become energized which, if the side of your finger touches it, you could be killed instantly. This brand has the correct thickness of electrical blades, which ensure a tight electrical connection. When the connection is sloppy, there can be arcing that can cause a fire or allow a heavy light bulb such as a heavy premium LED to slip and fall out. This has the standard brass electrical blades that are securely in the socket frame. Another brand’s were loose alowing them to slip when I pushed the adapter into the receptacle. Therefore, for your safety and peace of mind, I can highly recommend this brand if you want a safe and effective socket adapter. I am a stickler on electrical safety and feel strongly in alerting people to danger. These adapters passed my tests.

This European-to-American plug adapter has been very useful for me. The pack comes with four adapters, which has been great for connecting some of my devices, especially the lights on my Christmas tree. It’s important to keep in mind that these adapters are designed for low-power devices and do not support high current. As long as they’re used for low-consumption equipment, they work perfectly. Overall, it’s a good and practical product.

I bought this to add a light bulb to a dark corner in my basement where there was an outlet but no light fixture. It works exactly as advertised. A quick heads-up: Just keep in mind that it doesn't have a built-in on/off switch, so the light will stay on constantly unless it's plugged into a switched outlet, or you use a smart bulb with it (which is what I did!). Overall, it's a cheap, simple, and reliable fix for adding light to tight spaces. Highly recommend!

These work great. I had florescent lights in my garage and basement. I hated all the wires in the ceilings. But both areas had outlets in the ceiling. I saw some LED light banks that required a socket (screw-in) for power. Bummer. I wondered if there was a way..... TA-DA! This product was just what I needed. I needed four sockets....perfect because that is how many came in the order. I plugged them into the outlets, screwed in my LED lights and because the lights are lightweight, these adapters hold them up fine. Now I have more light with less electricity. Thanks to these adapters!
