I used this to cut and reconnect an extension lead so that I could get power to the opposite side of my bedroom. This involved passing the cable through the length of a built in wardrobe and down the external wall. Normally I would have removed the plug and fed the cable along the length of the wardrobe but this allowed me to simply drill a hole in either side of the wardrobe and feed the cable through from both ends. It was simply a quick fit to connect the two halves using the Wago connector to reconnect the 2 halves inside the wardrobe and power restored with minimum fuss. You get 2 connectors in the pack so there's a spare for when you accidentally cut through a cable too so it is good value for money and the Wago design inside the screwed connector means it's simple to use. The screw seems secure and holding so I am very happy and would recommend having one of these for any emergency electrical reconnections whether by design like mine or following an accidental cable break.

This worked exactly as advertised. Very easy to install using the instructions on the Amazon order page (could have done with a printed version included, but not a biggie). It seems very secure once correctly tightened, and build quality is good.

These are great for extending wires, I have one that's been outside for a year so far and two more that I have used to extend the flex on other stuff(a fan and a light). With the straight through wago type connector inside fitting is simplicity itself needing only a wire stripper to complete the job! The waterproof seals grip nicely once tightened on round flex and I'm sure will last years.

These seem well made, and should be quite water resistant. Not used yet.
