Ocean Potion SPF 70 Sunscreen Lotion, 3.4 Ounce

This has been my favorite sunscreen for over two year! Originally found it in Hawaii for an expensive $20 a tube. Great smell, no white cast, rubs on quickly. HOWEVER, $87 for 1 bottle of 6.8fl oz sunscreen? I was sure I ordered a pack of three (about $25 a bottle so expensive but justifiable) It’s good sunscreen but not THAT good! Like a pack of 6 costs $500. No joke. Amazon needs to check in with their sellers. Makes me wonder if it’s a scam… also it was shipped to me wrapped in used grocery store bags.. find your new fav sunscreen elsewhere.

Protected my skin better from the sun than I expected it to on a recent trip where I was exposed to the relentless sun several hours every morning for almost two weeks. I did not burn, but I did end up with a tan.This Ocean Potion Sunscreen does have a flowery, perfumey smell that may not be appreciated by some people. I like the scent which did seem to disappear soon after applying. It does nothing to repel sandflies, but neither did the product my sister used. I am not sure anything does.I have used the Ocean Potion Clear Zinc Oxide Face Sunscreen for years and think it is the best thing out there.

I use this sunscreen on my face (my dermatologist told me to use a SPF 50 sunscreen daily, even if it is cloudy outside), and it doesn't cause breakouts. I am acne-prone, so I have to be careful about what I put on my face. I also appreciate that this sunscreen has a pleasant scent. It looks thick coming out of the tube, but when applied, it goes on sheer. Also, this sunscreen doesn't pill (I've had problems with other sunscreens that pilled).

I've been using this sunscreen for many years. I always have to search for this product. Luckily I've always been able to find it on Amazon. The best thing about this sunscreen is the smell. I hate using sunscreen but I will use this. It smells like orange creamsicles!I also like that it comes in various SPFs to cover any skin type.

I received the 2-pack of 3.4 oz tubes of SPF 70 Ocean Potion ($6.96) on 06/01/2020. The product expires 10/2020. Very disappointed in that. Minus one star, more for the seller than the product. Check on expiration dates before buying.We have been using SPF 30 in the blue tube with no issues. I like the orange-danish fragrance. SPF 70 has a stronger sunscreen smell and less citrus smell.I preferred the Ocean Potion lotion in the big bottles, but those have apparently gone the way of the white buffalo.

We love this sunscreen. Honestly it’s mostly for the smell. I think Ocean Potion scent of sunshine smells like a pina colada and my partner thinks it smells a starburst. Haven’t gotten a burn with it, so the SPF50 seems to work well with our fair skin. It is thick and white but I think that makes it go on slower and makes it more obvious where it has been applied (I’m known for some weird burn patterns with thin sunscreen) but it does eventually rub in clear. We love this.

I first came about purchasing this brand when I was in the Bahamas. Where I was they only had 50 spf but I needed something so I gave it a try. It worked amazingly. Once back home and getting ready for being on the ocean fishing I decided to purchase the 30spf. Before using it I was a little sceptical bc we all know how we purchase something in a different geological location and then back home and it's not the same. This was. I've gone done to the 15 spf bc even with the 30 I was not getting any color. If you're looking not te get burnt and ruin a weekend or vacation this stiff is what you need. Bonus is that is smells like creme sickles.

Our whole family (a baby, toddler, and 2 parents) find this sunscreen to be non-irritating, nice-smelling, and easy to put on. I miss the baby and kid versions of the sunscreen as they were made with slightly safer chemical compounds (EWG rated 3), but this one seems to be working well. I do wish it was made with safer chemicals to be better for the environment and better for our bodies. It's rated a 4 by EWG, so we are trying out other sunscreens rated 1 or 2 for future use.
