Lightweight and fast-heating steam iron that replaces a 5 year old Black and Decker that was leaking. This one heats quickly and has worked for a week of constant ironing and I am happy with the results. Good value for money and works well at the job it is intended to do. Iron cloths. Switch to distilled water as I have done and you'll find the calcium build up disappears and gives your iron a longer life expectancy.

It's a decent iron for the price, although it has some problems. The manual says that steam only works when the temperature dial is set to the steam setting, which is right next to the highest setting which means it won't be able to use steam on synthetics. In any case I used it on synthetics with steam and it worked well enough, but with a couple problems. It leaked very hot water all over the place (on me too). It had a weird issue where it would just randomly start spewing steam and leaking water when it was sitting upright. I am pretty inexperienced with these so it could have just been me not doing something right, but I don't remember my old iron doing that.

We all had a blast getting hammered and playing Twister and getting all wrinkly and then trying out her new Beauteral on our own clothing (but not while we were still wearing it, hah). Folks, this iron is AMAZING!! It is lightweight, efficient, gets HOTT, and nope! IT DOES NOT LEAK. It really is the iron of everyone’s dreams. By about 2am the ironing pile got so huge it nearly toppled over but we just kept on stripping and ironing, stripping and ironing. Later someone brought a can of spray starch (am I even allowed to say that?) and things got interesting ... but that iron, man, was unstoppable. The next day I ordered a Beauteral for myself (love it) and a few more to have on hand for future ironing parties. Yesss give it a go --- you won't be disappointed.
