This is perfect. It is a well made sturdy piece of equipment with some useful extras. It has an easily read full colour screen, Google maps, travel advisor and translator. For the last item it comes with two microphones to easily pick up two people having a mixed language conversation whilst lying on a table between them. Audio output is clear and controlled by a volume button. The virtual SIM is useful if your physical SIM card runs out of data although the price of the data for this is ridiculously high. I use the Sipercharged ‘3’ data cards from Amazon which cover a large number of countries including the Channel Islands where I live and costs £15 for 20Gb, that’s a good price. It works wherever you are able to use your mobile phone and runs on 4G if it’s available. I’ve not travelled with it yet but when our home broadband gets overloaded or just fails to work I use this. It’s much faster both down and uploading than my landline broadband. In fact for music teachers it can upload your music videos to the exam boards with ease, which is why I bought it in the first place.

Will not work without a sim card subscription. Very dissatisfied

I bought this as a travel wifi hotspot and in general it works very well. In Sardinia it seemed to connect to the WIND network for 4G rather than TIM which for my purposes wasn't great as TIM is the only network with consistent signal where I am. Easy enough to fix this though by just buying a TIM sim and some data and inserting this sim in the device. Worked like a dream without complex setup. Battery life OK 12 hour or so in use. It says to switch off when charging but I had it connected to mains and in use for hours with no issue. What it didn't do as well as I thought it might is improve the signal reception over a mobile phone and there is no option to attach an external antenna. In the end, having proved to myself the basic plan of getting internet via 4G I bought an antenna and 4G modem which does improve and stabilise the signal. Still this device will continue to be useful for international travel.

So far this product has been great except I can not get the translate to work. I have used a sim card in the UK and I am using the cloud sim in Portugal. Service has been great. Unfortunately thought I am unable to get the Translate to work which would be very helpful in Portugal.

Great product. Love the screen. Look forward to using abroad in summer. Outstanding customer service, who dealt with my questions almost immediately. Feel comfortable that if I need some support, they will be there to help.

Internet on the go. Where ever you travel.

I just connected it to my mobile phone as a WiFi hub to test it, thinking I would get 20 or 30 Mb/s ...no....269 Mb/s download speed and 20 plus Mb/s upload. I am very impressed and surprised. The data packages seemed a tad on the expensive side however, for business purposes, absolutely very happy with this investment and have confidence of getting a decent internet signal wherever I am in the country. The device itself is well made. It's just like having a 2nd phone. Just like any phone would be good to have some kind of protective case. Highly recommended

A great alternative to international roaming on a cellphone plan. Battery life is about a day if you have it on all day long. Had great experiences with it in Mauritius, South Africa, South Korea, Japan, Europe. Haven't been anywhere yet where it has not worked. Saves a lot of money.

Item will not power up or turn on. Bought it for a trip, did not try to activate it until after my 1 month return date. No good.

Great device. We rely on it to let us work away from home. Turn it on and it finds the strongest signal cell network. Buy a data plan that suits you and then you just link each device you need to it, like a normal wi-if hub.

Great device! Easy to set up. Easy to purchase data plan. Only issue is that we had some spotty reception while travelling on the highway.
