ExOfficio Men's Air Strip Long Sleeve

I generally sweat a ton once I go to a hot and/or humid location overseas. So when I took this to Southeast Asia in the middle of the hot season, I expected it wouldn't fair quite well. To my surprise, this was the best shirt for lightweight hot weather wear that I've ever traveled with. I took this all over Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia at temperatures well above comfort, and never felt terrible. Much like the Give-N-Go Boxers, the shirt holds up well with sustained travel and minimal washing without giving off much odor. Highly recommend for a light but professional looking travel shirt in hot weather locations where sun protection is needed.

I haven't actually worn this on a trip yet, so this review is based on first impressions. I've owned ExOfficio Give-N-Go t-shirts and briefs for a long time, and love 'em a lot. This is the first ExOfficio that's not their "Give-N-Go" fabric so I was a little apprehensive. Turns out to be an awesome fabric that I can see would be great in humid climes. The vents under the arms and across the back are well-done and look very functional. I like the ability to roll up the long sleeves (as pictured). I'm a slender 5' 9" with slightly broad shoulders, and I found the fit a teeny bit small. I think the next size would be too big, though. If my opinion changes after actually using them on my next trip, I'll update this review.

Mostly this is terrific. It looks so good I'm wearing it a lot just to go out socially. The fabric is lightweight, much more so than an ExOfficio shirt I bought years ago. But it will be cool in hot weather. Some threads around button holes are starting to fray a little. Not sure if this is just loose thread left over from the sewing process or it means some things are beginning to unravel. We'll see.

trim fit in a 2xl is silly 2xl means the wearer is not trim luckily my spouse is loosing weight and this shirt will fit better, soon. the shirt is beautiful, though with great color and features

I really like Air Strip shirts and have worn them for several years. I did not give five stars only because it is a much brighter yellow than pictured. The vents permit air to flow easily into the shirt. Good for summer days to shield from the sun and still remain cool. Wear this shirt on a cool windy day and you will definitely notice the vents.

Fit is ok/good, similar to Columbia brand in Medium on me at 6'2" and 175 lbs. But really the look is not that stylish. I think with these "breathable" shirts you have to be careful not to look like you're wearing a cape. Sure comfort, I get it, just really feels and looks weird when your back has these huge flapping gills on it.

I bought two ExOfficio shirts for a six week trip. I wore them on alternate days and washed them each night (weight limit on luggage). They wore well, washed well, and dried fast. Just what I wanted. Pockets are large and secured by Velcro. Very handy. Quality product.

I love these Exoffcio shirts and wear them almost exclusively during the spring and fall. I purchased the white to wear to more dressy ocassions--like church meetings and services, etc. They also do well under sweaters and times with layers are more desirable. I have taken and worn Exofficio shirts like this one on international trips. They can be hand washed in a sink very easily. They will dry in the air (i.e., without a clothes dryer)--draped over a chair or on a hanger. On occasion, I have put them on while they are damp and they will continue to dry out when worn. Great shirts--for travel or comfort.

If we get any hot weather this year I can see myself wearing this all the time. I know some reviewers would prefer the older shirts that had a good amount of cotton mixed with man-made fibres, which I would agree with because you could at least iron the shirt. It's a shame that it arrives crumpled and obviously you can't use the iron (unless you want it to melt) So at the moment it gets washed and then hung to dry in the bathroom, it doesn't do a bad job of getting most creases out. However, even with all man-made fibres I very much like the shirt. Its light, fits me a treat and is very comfortable. I can see myself on the Hampshire rivers utilising all of its specs. I got this at a very reasonable price and will try to get some other colours.

Wonderful shirt. Too bad ExOfficio has stooped making them.....

I love these shirts, perfect for travel and everyday use. I already owned a half dozen in various colours, that are at least 10 years old and still going strong. They made an improvement since I last bought them: the pockets now have two velcro closures, one at each side, instead of the single in the middle. This eliminates the pocket corner "curl". Well done!
