It’s like Jason Barron took the overwhelming mountain of an MBA curriculum and turned it into a colorful, bite-sized roadmap that’s easy to digest. If you want the essence of business school without the two-year grind, this book delivers in spades. It’s engaging, approachable, and honestly feels like a breath of fresh air compared to traditional business books. The Bad That said, it’s not perfect. The book is a bit short, which left me wanting more depth on some topics. While it’s fantastic as a quick overview or a refresher, it doesn’t dive deep into the nitty-gritty details. For someone like me who enjoyed it but craves more substance, it feels a little like an appetizer rather than a full meal. My recommendation? Pair it with something like the Harvard Business Review series. Those books can fill in the gaps with richer, more detailed insights to round out what The Visual MBA starts.

Great book! I love this book so much!

There are too many vague points that come from the courses. And it sounds like only those who attended those courses can understand the ideas mentioned. Overall it’s a good summary of things you already know but useless for those who want to learn.

If you haven't heard about "The Visual MBA" by Jason Barron, MBA you need to get your hands on it now. I couldn't put it down and I finished reading in less time it took for Amazon Prime to deliver it. If you are a visual learner, passionate about business, and short on time, I strongly suggest you read this book. It's such an easy and interesting read that a teenager should read it if they are considering getting a business degree. It's also captivity enough that a seasoned business person (who already knows the material) can't put it down. Jason paints the landscape of his business courses from a top notch University and he easily articulates how it all comes together. It is a simple read, thought-provoking and a great recap of high-level business principles and areas of emphasis.

Overview of a ton of topics from general management, finance, marketing, strategy etc presented in a fun easy to read format without too much business jargon. Given it is just one book, great to find your blindspots and follow up with other book on specific topics that you'd want to dive in deeper on. If the author decides to publish a sequel on specific topics, I would totally buy it.

C’est la première fois que je lis un livre illustré et c’est convaincant. On garde beaucoup plus en mémoire les points importants. Et ce livre apporte tous les points nécessaires à un MBA. Chaque lecteur fera ensuite ça recherche plus détaillée sur les sujets à approfondir. 18/20 mention très bien.
