YOUSHARES Shock Mount for Blue Yeti and Yeti Pro Microphone, Alloy Shockmount Reduces Vibration Noise and Improve Recording Quality

This product does the job taking away the sound of contact vibrations very good. Previously I had the heavy table stand that came with the Yeti. super sturdy and good, but had one major downfall. It picked up vibrations ALL the time when I typed, touched the table, put down a cup of coffee or moved any item on the table as I recorded. It was a pain in the posterior. When I got the Chock Mount all my troubles were gone. no more contact vibrations could be heard on the sound tracks. One small negative point. The screw-in attachment point between mic and chock mount was slightly to shallow, so I placed a washer in between to make the fit spot on. I opted for a metal washer, but tried it with a rubber O-ring too. Both worked. It would still be workable and operational without my fix, but I like everything solidly in place.

I’ve been having issues for a long time when it comes to vibrations ruining my mic audio, from full on rage slams to slight little knocks you get them awful sounds that last 1-2 seconds, I was tempted to get the official Shock mount from Blue but this is absolutely perfect, I cannot believe the difference! I’ve done a full stress test on it and and full on whacked my desk and nothing apart from the obvious bang, I’ve tested knocking my boom arm but again nothing, 100% recommended! No adapter needed, very well made to, was expecting cheap plastic but it seems good quality, can support the yeti upright or hanging. 10/10

This piece of equipment fits the Blue Yeti perfectly, and does the job of vibration damping very well. I have it on a desk stand, and it takes quite a considerable knock on the desk for any transmission of sound through to the microphone - so ideal. My only criticism would be that the mount is reluctant to stay in position and lock. It's probably due to the weight of the Yeti, but putting the microphone so it is vertical, hence the mount is horizontal, it drops down under the weight of the microphone too easily. It can be repositioned eventually so that It will stay in place, but still remains difficult to lock in place. This same problem occurs if the microphone is positioned above or below the mount, (i.e. Pointing up, or dangling down) so it's the locking mechanism in the mount that is at fault. If you can tolerate fiddling around to get it to lock in place, then it's a worth keeping, because it generally does what it's supposed to do.

It fits the mic perfectly, the build quality is fine, and it isolates nicely. Not much more to say, really.

Fantastic fit but now I upgraded my mic for the Shure mv7+ . But for the blue yeti it's a must buy

Not really had a chance to test if it actually lowers noise but it does not fit my blue yeti. The thread screw is too small to grip and won’t tighten past a set distance into the microphone which doesn’t go tight against the base so it wobbles. Not feeling safe enough to attach to my arm. Had to use a tool to undo the screw which removed paint from the screw. The screw needs to be able to be tightened more and redesigned for use with a tool of some kind. Going to return it.

As delivered it doesn't fit. Needs an unspecified docking collar which is doesn't come with. Pretty useless as delivered. I will give it 3 stars on the assumption it works fine IF you can fit it.

Helps out with recordings and Discord voice chats with friends so they don't have to hear unnecessary vibrations from the desk.

Ottimo shock mount, robusto e resistente, fa bene il suo lavoro! Ho montato il mio shure sopra, sorregge bene e non da problemi! Consigliato!

J'ai voulu acheter une araignée a bas prix, le blue yeti étant lourd, celle-ci s'est cassée. Mais depuis que j'ai acheté cette nouvelle araignée, ce n'est pas du tout pareil, on sent tout de suite dès le déballage que le produit est robuste et résistant, parfaitement adapté pour le Blue Yeti, maintient même le micro à l'horizontale.
