Couldn't find what I needed, but these worked!
I gave up on earrings years ago because my head is attached to a phone 80% of the time at work and I couldn't handle the constant digging into my skin that was caused by holding the phone on my shoulder while typing. Recently found flat-back earrings and honestly, I don't understand why the regular earring types still exist. The flat backs I had were metal, and with three lobe piercings close together sometimes it made the backs feel crowded/heavy. I have one in particular that sits lower, and so visually it would look weird when the earring back was sort of weighing the earring down. I was looking for this product, but with a deeper hole in the Bioflex back to allow for regular earrings to be put in so I wasn't stuck to just a few flat backs I have purchased recently. when they arrived I tried to use a needle to deepen the hole in the Bioflex, but that really didn't work. So naturally as a crafty gal I found some wire cutters and took a pair of earrings I really didn't care for, and cut off the majority of the post to see if they would work as regular earring backs then. and it worked! I use to have gauged ears and was lucky when taking them out that they shrunk down to normal piercing gauges. Although this made it a little difficult to get the bioflex back in from the back of my ear. However, once the end was through, I could pop the stud with the tiny little post into the bioflex piece and have soft flat backs for my regular janky earrings. I'm currently using the smallest size in this pack, and still have quiet a bit of post hanging out on the back of my ear before the flat back. The metal flat backs I had the same issue with so IDK if my lobes are super skinny and weirder than others, or what lol. However, this has caused no issues with wear. I've been wearing them in the shower, when I sleep etc. and no issues at all. The best part is that despite the post being longer than needed, the material of the post keeps them from moving around. So my earrings have stayed in place perfectly since putting them in. I use to have spider bite lip piercings, and eventually let them close because the clear spacers I could get at the piercing shops(amazon wasn't really a thing back then lol) were never long enough and would pinch on the skin and caused issues. I imagine these would be perfect to correct that problem as well.

Great once their in!
you can barely see them when they’re in which is great for my line of work. My only issue is they took FOREVER to put in the first time, Use a hooked piece of metal to put them in your nose piercings or you’re in for a long night of struggling with your nose 🤣

not recommended for inner ear piercings
i was using this for my inner conch piercing and this took me sooooo much time and effort to actually put in :-/ because the pieces are so tiny it’s very hard to use for inner ear piercings— it probably took me upwards of 30mins. that being said, it’s very discrete. i bought this for a new job that doesn’t allow piercings and after over 9mo of working there my coworkers have only JUST learned that i have piercings lmao and it’s only because i told them about it. it’s also very sturdy and easy to clean— i’ve never had issues with it getting knocked out or gunk collecting along the sides (like i’ve had with some other poorly designed piercings) overall i’d recommend it if this is something you plan to keep in for a long time (ie working somewhere that doesn’t allow piercings). but if this is something you’re just planning to use for an upcoming surgery and then immediately take out afterwards, i’d recommend something that’s easier to install… especially if you’re using it for an inner ear piercing— don’t waste your time/energy cause it was super frustrating for me

So tiny
This came out of my son's ear and into his opponent's eye during grappling competition (similar to wrestling). I don't know if it pulled through his earlobe or just fell apart. He has a very hard time putting it in. It's tiny and difficult to put in. If you have good sight & very steady hands, and don't play contact sports, this may be a good product for you...

Perfect for hiding facial jewelry
I worked at a country club doing weddings and had to take out my facial piercings. My Medusa was new and I was concerned about it closing without something in it during work. These worked perfectly to disguise the piercings. My boss never had a problem with it, and it was almost invisible when in. Comfortable although the tops do have a tendency to come off, but as I was only using the shortest size, I had extras!

Perfect for tragus hiding
So in all honesty I only bought these as a backup. I had observed so many people posting pictures of their "can hardly see it piercing" and I thought, nope cant go with a clear one because I could see it. So I bought some flesh colored ones. Which matched pretty well, however day one of wearing it fell out! I was freaking out because I can't have a piercing in at all...retainer included for work. I have a tragus piercing and first I tried the slightly bigger end showing...no good. Flipped it around and it was actually pretty unbelievable. I mean I knew it was there so I could see it, but with just a bit of concealer and foundation around it no one else noticed it....side note my flesh colored one went in very painfully this one did not...another side note I did not figure out it was a push top retainer until I came to write this review and it still went in better than my other one. I can wear ear plugs comfortably with it in. It has not fallen out like my other one, I am being more careful with it though.

Too flimsy
I purchased a few different brands of these to use in my piercings so i could remove my jewelry for surgery. They were all pretty cheap, which i attributed to them being plastic and meant for one- time use. But these were not even useable for me. The heads are so tiny you can barely get a hold on them, and the posts are so skinny and flimsy you can't get them to go into the piercing without bending. I even had my adult daughter try to help put them in and she couldn't get them either. I ended up throwing them away and not using. For me, these were a waste. Do not recommend

I wear mine at work and they're ideal!
In this day and age where facial piercings are seen as "unprofessional," I wear this clear push-top jewelry to keep my piercings unobtrusive as well as keep the holes from closing. I have never had a complaint from either a customer or a fellow employee. I've actually had fellow employees lament not knowing about these because they had to let their piercings close up. If your boss is getting on your case about facial jewelry and demands you either take them out or wear clear studs, get these. They're durable enough that I have only accidentally chewed through one of them (I absent-mindedly chew on my piercings because they're in my lips) and the push-tops stay in very well (unless you're eating something very oily and also pull on the post from behind accidentally). So, basically, if you're a normal person, these are perfect. Heck, even if you're like me and are kind of rough with them as lip jewelry, they're pretty ideal. AND they come in a multi-pack so you don't have to worry about needing to buy replacements for a while if you lose one.
