DISNEY INFINITY Figure Dash

My daughter was a huge fan of Skylanders, which was the original video game that required you to buy endless figures and paraphernalia for use in the game. She is also a huge fan of Disney, so I thought Disney Infinity would be a huge hit at our house. It wasn’t. She just never really got into it - and I kept encouraging her by buying the figures of her favorite characters. She did play Disney Infinity some, but it just never took hold the way Skylanders did.THE KID SAYS: The included toy box modes had good stories but beyond that there was so little direction that some people could get overwhelmed. The stories were easy to finish up and after that it was hard for me to come up with ideas for the sandboxes.

Dash is, quite likely, my favorite Infinity figure besides possibly Rapunzel. Our son has always enjoyed Dash in The Incredibles and when we considered buying Disney Infinity, we knew he had to be one of the figurines that we bought, along with Rapunzel for my daughter! We thought we were being smart and we bought Disney Infinity 2.0 so we could enjoy all of our favorite superheroes too, but... after playing with the Avengers set quite a while, we realized we needed to go buy Infinity 1.0 so we could use our figurines from the earlier set.That right there is the only reason Dash is a 4 star rather than 5 star purchase.Once we bought 1.0, we really enjoyed using Dash with it. He's super fast and it is fun to race him around the playset or toybox. My son, in particular, enjoys using him and will also occasionally just play with the Disney figure. We've had great luck with them being toys -- they seem sturdy and they're so nicely designed. I will warn that when we went to a friend's house, his Dash had someone been destroyed physically. The base still produced Dash in the game, but their figure was broken. We hadn't even realized that could occur until we went to their house.

Dash is a great character on the Incredibles playset. My six-year-old nephew regularly plays as Dash (and he enjoys playing as Violet, too). Dash's superpowers include super fast reflexes when fighting the omnidroids. It's pretty cool and his hits pack a punch! When my nephew accidentally hit my character, it left me dazed and didn't give me much time to move out of the way because his punches came in quick successions.Please note that you don't start off with the superpower speed. You only receive the incredible speed as you level up throughout the game. You receive a tutorial at headquarters (on the Adventure mode) on how to utilize this superpower.(The controls for the combat are easy.) You can hurt enemies by colliding into them while running. It's fun. Dash is a great addition to your playset. I recommend it.

My 8 year old son loves the Disney Infinity game. And he loves to collect and use the characters, I think we might have 90% of them. This works for me on the Xbox One, with Disney Infinity 3.0. They are non machine specific, but I have not tested that personally. Keeps him happy and off the streets, so 5 stars from me.

Niece loved it! We call her "Speedy" as she is always in motion. This was a birthday gift, and she was excited to run around in Infinity just like in real life :)

Purchased this for my son's Disney Infinity and he loved it! He is an Incredibles Fan so it was the perfect gift.

Kids love these things, and I didn't have to go to the store with the little guys. So wonderful, just hit that button baby, they earn their little figures by doing a few chores. Then we look up the figures on their lists (yes, even the 7 year old wrote very nicely so that Santa & I can read it) ha!

Exactly as described and works perfectly on our xbox 360. The kids are having a blast with these figurines. It shipped within 2 days as promised and the kids were playing with it not 2 minutes out of the box.
