A Lifesaver for Wireless Connectivity
Let me start by saying that the Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle is a lifesaver for anyone who needs to connect their PC to Bluetooth devices. As someone who has struggled with outdated technology for years, this little gadget has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me.The setup process was easy enough - I simply plugged the dongle into a USB port on my PC and waited for it to be recognized. Once that was done, I was able to connect all sorts of Bluetooth devices to my computer, including my headset, speakers, keyboard, mouse, and even my printer. The dongle works flawlessly most of the time, providing a stable and reliable Bluetooth connection. However, there have been a few occasions where it hasn't quite lived up to my expectations. One time, I was trying to connect my Bluetooth speaker to my computer for a party, but the dongle just wouldn't cooperate. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, resetting my computer, and even dancing around the room with the dongle in my hand (hey, you never know). But no matter what I did, I couldn't get it to connect. Eventually, I had to give up and resort to playing music through my phone.Despite that one frustrating experience, I still give the Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle four out of five stars. It has made my life so much easier in so many ways. I no longer have to deal with tangled cords or outdated hardware. I can connect all my Bluetooth devices with ease and enjoy the freedom of a wireless setup. And let's be honest, there's something satisfying about having a tiny dongle plugged into your computer that can do so much. It's like having a secret weapon that no one else knows about.I also have to mention how much I appreciate the compact size of the Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle. It's so small and unobtrusive that I hardly even notice it's there. I can leave it plugged into my computer all the time without it getting in the way or taking up valuable space on my desk. And let's talk about the price. The Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle is incredibly affordable, especially when you consider how much it can do. I was worried that I would have to shell out a lot of money for a high-quality Bluetooth adapter, but this one is budget-friendly without sacrificing performance. Now, for the funny part of this review. One time, I was using the dongle to connect my Bluetooth mouse to my computer. I was in the middle of an important project and everything was going smoothly...until my cat decided to make an appearance. He jumped onto my desk and immediately went for the dongle, batting it around with his paws like it was a toy. I tried to grab it before he could do any damage, but he was too quick for me. Before I knew it, he had knocked the dongle onto the floor and was gleefully pouncing on it.Thankfully, the dongle was still intact (although it did have a few teeth marks on it). I picked it up, plugged it back into my computer, and continued working. It just goes to show that even when faced with a curious cat, the Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle can still deliver the goods.Another thing I appreciate about the Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle is its compatibility with a wide range of devices and operating systems. It works with Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7, which covers pretty much any PC you might have. And it's not just limited to computers - I've also used it to connect my Bluetooth headset to my TV, which is a game-changer for watching movies or playing games without disturbing anyone else in the house. There is one minor downside to the Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle, however. It does have a tendency to get a little bit warm after extended use. It's not hot enough to be dangerous or cause any damage, but it can be a little bit uncomfortable if you accidentally touch it. I've found that this is more of an issue when I'm using it for gaming or other activities that require a lot of Bluetooth bandwidth. For everyday use, it's not really a problem. In conclusion, if you're looking for a Bluetooth adapter for your PC, the Techkey Mini Bluetooth 5.0 EDR Dongle is definitely worth considering. It's easy to set up, works great most of the time, and can connect all sorts of Bluetooth devices. Just be prepared for the occasional hiccup, and you'll be good to go.

It is really 5.3 and with a really awesome range
I tested it with my ATH M50XBT2, with my galaxy buds and with a bluetooth keyboard. The latency is really good and it can also keep the connection going through some walls (I can walk to the bathroom and to the kitchen with my headset on and still get audio)I was worried that the adapter might not be truly 5.3 since I didnt really knew the vendor, but as shown in the screenshot above the firmware is LMP 12.513 (this means that it uses a BT 5.3+ revision)The adapter shows as generic adapter on Windows 10 (make sure to have the latest windows updates or search for the specific ones that get you compatibility with BT 5.3) for me it was truly plug and play since my pc was already up to date. The adapter is also really sturdy, but it does not get in the way of the other usb ports on my pc.Will update if I get any kind of problem

Decent Adapter With Few Drawbacks
So after using this for about a month now, I can confidently say that this is a fairly solid product with very few drawbacks. For context, my setup is in a pretty crappy spot. I’m on the second floor with my PC tucked between my desk and dresser all inside of my bedroom closet, so I’m sure you can imagine how difficult it is to get a decently strong connection. The previous WiFi adapter I had only got me a messily 50-60 mbps download speed which was barely enough to watch a YouTube video. God forbid I try to download something or play an online game without having to wait hours for it to load or finish though.I’m fairly new to the PC world and didn’t do much research so it was my fault for getting a weak first adapter. Luckily after figuring out what I actually needed, I stumbled across this one and decided to try it out. It supposedly offered high download speeds, a good reception, and was cheaper than most other adapters with the same features, so I went ahead and bought it.After plugging it in with the platform extension, it connected immediately and started searching for wifi networks to connect to. I tried downloading the drivers with the usb it came with but it wouldn’t connect for some reason so I gave up on trying, either way, it still works perfectly fine. After connecting to my wifi I saw a HUGE difference. I jumped from 50 mbps to a little over 200 as you can see in the pictures. I could finally use my PC as it was intended and I never have to worry about slow speeds or not being able to play certain online games. Now there are a few drawbacks as I mentioned, none that are super bad but it was worth taking 1 star off IMO. One drawback has to do with the base extension. You’re not allowed to use it on any of your front USB adapters and I quickly learned why. It overheats the adapter and short circuits itself and the PC. At one point I heard a slight hum and some popping sounds and my PC would start to flicker off and on, so that wasn’t good at all. Given my setup, having it in the front makes it more convenient for me as I was able to put the adapter in a slightly better position, but since I have to use the back, it shortens the length of the wire and restricts where I can actually place it so that kind of sucked, but not a huge issue.Another thing with the base extension is that it doesn’t securely hold the adapter. Sometimes I’ll accidentally brush against the antenna or if my PC shakes the adapter loses connection with the base and the internet goes out. It’s kind of annoying b/c just the tiniest movement to it will lose the connection and I’ll have to wait a minute for it to reboot itself. Again, not the biggest deal and is probably only an issue b/c of my setup, so this might not really bother others, but I thought I’d point it out anyways.Overall though, I’d recommend this product. It has risen about 10 bucks from when I bought it though (26 to 36 bucks), but even at this new price, it still beats other adapters going for around 20 to 30 bucks more for the same speeds and hardware. If you need something decent with a pretty reliable connection, aside from the base extension issues, then go ahead and buy this, it’ll be worth the money.

added wireless to older computer
I switched to Verizon wireless and discovered my older computer was not capable of wireless internet. I am not a geek, bad for me. This had a usb with the drivers on it. It suggested the rear usb ports were better for the antennae. The instructions were pretty good. It loaded and connected very nicely. I was a little confused that they referred to the wifi password as a key. It is working great.

Works but comes up as "general adapter"
Works as intended, plug and play, I got the one with the antenna. great packaging with cool stickers.LIFETIME WARRANTY.All i got it for was connecting my earbuds to the computer. maybe I just treated myself for no reason. because You can plug in your tablet or phone or any extra phone into your computer and use it as an adapter. but hey we're americans, 1st world problems of convenience. if you got extra money just get it.One thing. you can tell is some sort of generic product because of how it just shows up as general adapter and no software.

Sencillo y de alta ganancia.
Funciona segun las caracteristicas do fabricante. Recomiendo!
