I am 33 weeks pregnant and no stretch marks! I have been using it since my first trimester after I shower in the evening. I have a history of stretch marks from gaining weight in college on my thighs and breasts, but during my pregnancy, I have been using the belly butter on my breasts, stomach, around my lower back, and my thighs with no new stretch marks.You have to make sure you rub it in well or it can make your clothing a little oily or give it a yellow tint if it is something white/light. The smell is great, especially since my sense of smell has increased, and a lot of belly creams and stuff smell awful to me.Customer service was great when I had ordered a tub of the belly butter that must have gotten heated up during shipping... it made it grainy like an exfoliator, which was really uncomfortable to rub on my sensitive skin, so they gave me a refund (even though they said it would not change the effectiveness) and I have ordered twice since then.

This product is incredible. I use it as chap stick, face moisturizer and hair gel for my kids. The quality and ingredient mix is superior- no artificial colors, scents or chemicals, no petroleum, nothing but natural amazingness and still more effective than Vaseline or aquafor. The product I received was flatter and wider than the one pictured making it easier to scoop out. The texture is a little harder at first but once you break the surface and mix a little it softens out. The smell is sweet and subtle. I highly recommend and will be back for more once this supply runs out!

I used this twice daily throughout my pregnancy and have no stretch marks (which may or may not be due to this product, but it kept my belly skin looking and feeling very well moisturized and elastic). It is thick, "feels" like it is doing it's job, organic, and goes on well with the warmth of your hands. It's not cheap, but the 4 oz container should last a couple of months (I used about 2.5 of the 4 oz containers while pregnant - and I'm still using it postpartum). Must have product for pregnancy.Would recommend applying at least 10 minutes before putting on clothing, especially tighter-fitting clothing, as it may leave a slight yellow oily residue if not dry.

I'm due in 2 weeks and have been using this or the accompanying toning oil since about month 4ish. I know stretch marks are hereditary (and nobody has them in my family) so I wasn't too worried about them but figured better safe than sorry. My friend recommended this product and I do like it - it absorbs nicely, isn't greasy, lasts a long time, and has a nice scent (kind of a light orange). Whether or not it actually prevents stretch marks is still a question since I wasn't really expecting to get them anyway. BUT! Added bonus - I've also been using it on my chest and shoulders that tend to get a lot of sun and an occasional burn from being outside a lot in the summer (yes, I use sunscreen; I blame it on my Irish heritage). Normally I peel, but since using this butter, no peeling and the red from the sun fades within a couple days! So that itself is enough to make me reorder it. Happy with this product overall.

This is my second pregnancy. I managed to get through without stretch marks last time but I didn't love the lotions I was using - a little too slimy and smelly, and they stained. This became even more apparent when I pulled out my maternity clothes this time around. This one, on the other hand, smells good and rubs in easily without being greasy. I haven't noticed any stains except possibly on the reverse side of my clothes (but nothing that shows through). I think the thing I like best about it is that I actually want to use it rather than feeling like it's just another hassle. It is on the pricey side, but for around $50 (2 containers) for the entire pregnancy and postpartum period, it's well worth it.Update: No stretch marks post baby despite having gained 37 pounds! And I didn't tire of the smell.

Top of the line “liquid gold” for mama’s to be! I remember years ago using this and I loved loved loved the smell and so I bought it again and in a drought condition fire prone area this is liquid gold baby. Loved it so much I put their entire baby care line on my baby list. It’s super expensive but worth the price. I can’t begin to talk this up enough and i’ve Even shared the packets with friends.

I loved this stuff for my pregnant belly! I was lucky enough not to get any stretch marks. Yes, we all know that stretch marks are hereditary and creams and lotions don't do anything to prevent them. I do have stretch marks from regular weight gain, but luckily none from pregnancy. I owe this to drinking lots and lots of water and using nice butters on my belly such as this one. At the very least, it kept my belly from getting itchy as it stretched to accommodate my eight-pound, six-ounce piglet baby. It also had a pleasant smell. It needed to be warmed a little bit before it was applied, but after it was warmed up it went on nicely. Its a little thick but long lasting. I would make this part of my nightly ritual, and i could still feel the moisture left behind by morning.

I used this butter starting in my second trimester right up until the end of my pregnancy. And I had plenty left, so I'm still using it now postpartum. I also used the Earth, Mama, Angel, Baby Stretch Oil. I usually put the oil on my belly in the morning and this butter on at night. I didn't get any stretch marks at all, which I'm sure is due more to genetics and the fact that I didn't gain a ton of weight, but I think these products help as well. This is a nice, rich, thick butter and it smells fantastic. Whether it prevents stretch marks or not, it's wonderful for soothing an itchy pregnant belly as it grows. It is a little on the pricey side, though, and I think there are other products out there that are also effective if you can't justify the price.

Love the smell reminds me of citrus, but texture is way too thick. Even though i prefer to put on thick creams on my belly (feels more moisturized), this one is so hard to apply. It's like a paste and you reaaally have to dig in your finger to take some and then i struggle to apply it. Hopefully in summer it will be softer/creamier.When it comes to stretch marks, you can only do so much. Talked with many moms and doctors and everybody will tell you that if your skin has it, you will get some no matter how expensive is the product you use. However, deeply moisturizing the skin daily will reduce the appearance and will make the skin look better.

Love this product! My only con would be that it is a bit greasy, but I still give it 5 stars! I used it throughout my pregnancy and got no stretch marks -- I know, they say that is a genetic thing, but this belly butter made me so comfortable. Before using it my skin felt dry and "stretched", it made it feel so smooth, elastic and moisturized. I stopped after te pregnancy and 6 months later I have started ordering it again! Not pregnant, just love how it makes my skin feel :) highly recommend it.

I am very happy with the product and the delivery. I just wish that I could buy more than one product each time to save on the delivery cost!

Have gone through 2 containers so far and now 7 month pregnant, so far no stretch marks. Smells amazing and hydrates for a long time. Will be ordering more!

Not a fan of the texture of this product so I stopped using it. Much prefer a more cream like consistency.

The lotion is hard which makes it difficult to apply, and it didn't feel worth the price.

I am prone to stretch marks- I got them on my highs, butt, hips and breasts as a teenager. Obviously there's no way to know what would have happened without this cream, but I applied it once a day for most of my pregnancy and did not get any new stretch marks. My stomach looks back to normal and did even a few days postpartum! It smells really nice and goes on easily. It is a little bit oily but well worth it.
