These elevated bowls are perfect for my kitten! She took to them right away, and I’ve noticed she eats more comfortably now—no more chasing kibble around a flat dish. The 15° tilt really does help, especially with keeping food in place and reducing neck strain while she eats. The ceramic bowls are a nice weight, so they don’t slide around, and I love that they’re dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. The bamboo and metal stand feels solid and looks great in my kitchen—not bulky or cheap-looking at all. Super happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it for anyone with a kitten, cat, or small dog.

I have two cats that are extremely messy eaters. It doesn’t seem to matter what type of food they eat - wet or dry, but a good portion of it always went on the floor. It required daily cleaning of the floor well beyond the placemats their bowls were centered on. Even though this feeder is not perfect for us, I am beyond thrilled with it!! It’s the solution I have been looking for for years. It is truly amazing - no more mess AT ALL! Literally, NOTHING. The unit is trivial to assemble. Parts fit together easily and securely, and nothing moves when the cats are eating from it. It should last years. I love the look of it as well as eco-friendliness of the bamboo. It comes with the allen wrench you need to secure the 4 bolts that attach the legs. I do not use the bowl set that it came with. The quality of the bowls is very good. However, they seemed ill-suited to feeding my cats. The *inside* measures of the included bowls: 4.75” dia, sides 1.75” deep and are near vertical. It’s too big for cat food, at least for my cats. (For reference, each of my cats eat 2-3 cans wet food/day plus always have a small bowl of dry kibble available. But it is never a lot sitting out a one time.) Their food seemed to get lost in the bowls that were included and I also was concerned about whisker fatigue given the deep sides. Thankfully my cats’ usual bowls fit securely into the 5.25” dia holes in the bamboo. Thus, on each of our units I use one side for dry food, the other for wet food. My cats have a cat fountain for water. I suppose if you were using one side for water, the included bowl would be a fine size as long as your cats aren’t big drinkers like mine. I was not sure if the unit would be too tall for my smaller cat, a Burmese. However, as you can see from the pic, it’s a great height, even for him. Obviously it would be way too tall for kittens. I’ve rated the unit as a 5. No, it’s not perfect, but with some simple tweaks on my end it solved my problem completely. I’m ecstatic that my search is over.

I came back to this listing to find a replacement bowl and was surprised to see that it is tagged as a frequently returned item. We have been using the feeder with no issues for over three years. It still looks good as new. Even when I dropped the bowl I'm looking to replace, it only chipped rather than broke into pieces. It's been a quality purchase for our dog.

Overall this is a great product. Easy to assemble, good height, sturdy. Nice, easy to clean bowls. Works well for our Frenchie puppy, he is able to comfortably stand to eat and drink. We ended up ordering a second one for our elderly cat, and it provides her with a much easier way to eat and drink. The only negative I have about it is that they should have considered making the water bowl either angled, or deeper, as you can only fill the bowl about 1/4-1/2 full or else you'll spill water out as it is tilted in the stand. So if your dog (or cat) drinks a lot, you'll be refilling it quite often. Changing the bowl design for water would give this item a 5 Star Review.

I didn't realize that when a pet eats food they generally eat it out of most times a bowl that is on the floor. That causes the pet (cat and dog alike) to eat with their throat at an angle. Imagine trying to swallow at an angle. These bowls are ergonomically correct to enable your pet to swallow correctly which is super important for a senior pet.

I have a dachshund mix (about 18–19 lbs) with long ears, and these small bowls are perfect for him because his ears stay out of the bowl while he’s eating. The bowls I used before were larger, and his ears would fall into the food, with food getting stuck on the tips. At first, I thought these bowls might be a little too small, but they’re actually the perfect size for a full meal portion. I really like that they help keep my dog’s ears clean while he eats.
