I had to replace my refrigerator recently, and what I gained in shelf space, I sacrificed in size of produce drawers. My three kids eat a ton of fruit, and I buy 2 weeks worth of groceries at a time, so I needed a fruit bowl to save space in the produce drawers for the fruit that required refrigeration.This bowl is exactly what I was hoping for! The design is modern and looks nice. The bowl has a few of the circular dots/feet on the bottom so it doesn't slip around on the table. I wanted a large bowl, but wider versus taller. This bowl fits that description, and it holds a lot! Right now, I have limes, oranges, apples and bananas in the bowl, and plenty of room for all of them!

It's a sturdy nice looking fruit basket. I'm used to bigger baskets but this one is a bit smaller than I thought it would be. It's good enough for a few fruits,. I love the look though.

This bowl does not stand up straight! I put it under my sink to hold different items. Do not bother to buy this bowl!

I hand washed this bowl 1 time and an orange rust-like substance appeared all around the base of the bowl.
