Is this better for moisturizing curls than 'so much moisture' line? Most conditioners make my hair oily but still dry. Is this water based, not oily?

Would this work well on a straighter textured hair?

It is very light so it would work well on straighter textured hair. It also has enough moisturizing properties to work on thicker hair as well.

Is this similar to kinky kurly not today? kknt was horrible for my hair

The consistency is very similar. If you didnt like kknt you probably wont like this. I found it ok not much to rave about
