JNH Lifestyles MG101RB Freedom Infrared Sauna

We needed something small to fit into a space next to our bathroom. This seemed like the perfect unit, it arrived well packaged, we watched the assembly video on You-tube, and all was well except for a deep scratch in the floor - until we tried to turn it on. Power seemed to work, but the numeric display for time & temperature did not light. My initial thought was that either the power supply or display panel was faulty. Customer service came to the rescue with good instructions and guidance, only a long power reset was needed and the unit now functions perfectly! The floor issue was also addressed and we are very happy with the unit. If one thing could be improved, it would be for the installation instructions to have larger illustrations and some helpful tips. Looking forward to some relaxing heat therapy! Highly recommend.

We have ours set up covered outdoors in a cool climate. Never sweat—just doesn’t get that hot. Air seeps in through the bottom of the door so cover gap with a towel. Materials are flimsy and arrived with a hole, but fine now that it’s put together. If I need it needed to be inside, I wouldn’t have purchased this product.

I purchased mine of the JNH website during a sale.The sauna arrived in 3-4 boxes on a pallet and was in great condition off the truck. I was stood up for my delivery window by the shipper Road Runner - but they are a poor local group here in the Portland, OR area and I've had issues with them in the past with other deliveries - nothing new.It took my by myself less than an hour to take everything out in 1 hour in the garage. No damage.I moved everything into my master bedroom and installed it mostly on my own (I am a 160 lb male with good knowledge of tools and assembly) in about 75 minutes. I did get some help on the glass door section because it was heavy. The assembly does require use of a screwdriver or drill (my preference) so it isn't actually a tool free installation as the ad portrays. The instructions are lacking in a few areas and I had to backtrack in a couple of spots (meaning I had to undo my assembly and reassemble in a different way) but overall it was fine. The roof section is about 3/8" too small which means that it doesn't catch well on both sides and there is an air gap and one end of the roof is not secured by screws as described in the instructions. I don't find this affects the operation of the sauna but it is an annoying inattention to detail and quality that shows up in other areas.The inside of the sauna is comfortable and my 6 y/o joins me at times comfortably. It is a little dark in there with just the LED light provided. You might consider the other lighting kit they offer. I did buy the lumbar support kit and it is quite helpful and I wouldn't want to go without it. The sauna comes up to my temp range of 110-120 within 12-15 minutes and that feels plenty hot for my present needs. Infrared is very different from traditional saunas which operate at much higher temperatures. I love my time in my new sauna.My biggest disappointment with this model is the quality of the casing. I specifically spent more money to get the Freedom for the darker appearance of the cedar casing as shown in the picture. The sauna I received clearly did not receive more than 1, maybe 2, coats of sprayed stain on the outer casing and you can tell it was a rushed application because there is an unevenness to the appearance. I have a high end home with a lot of dark wood and was hoping this would stand up to the quality of the home. Unfortunately, it is a detraction and I may as well have purchased their low end sauna.

I Love It!Easy to use and set up,well built could have better hardware.overall very happy!

The cedar cabinet works well in our fitness area. We turn on the heaters while we are working out. We like the sauna better than the hot tub after a workout. Over all......it was delivered on time,took about 3 hours to assemble and the fit and finish was good. Five stars thanks kent

We absolutely love our new sauna... it was so easy to assemble and everything works as promised... we are already feeling great relief from pain... thank you JNH!

Pretty, warm, an excellent addition

Love it. When it heats up I can smell the redwood. What a treat and luxury to have this sauna. Purchased the back and next support and it's even better.
