Warm toes
Bought this for my husband because his feet and hands are icy cold during the winter. He always wear thick socks. Even with thick socks he buys feet and hands warmers. The warmers work great but you need to stick it in your socks every morning. So we try to find some efficient and convient product to warm his feet. These heated socks works great.Pro:We like the thickness of the socks so husband could wear it without batteries in spring and fall.Charging of the batteries is very quick and convenient (could charge both batteries at same time).Socks start to get warm right after connecting with battery.Suggestion:It will be great if it could heat the entire socks especially bottom of the food.Even this socks is not the perfect one, but it's reasonable price make it worth my five stars.

These have been awesome for me!!!
For the price, these can't be beat! I use them for cycling and my toes stay nice and toasty. I don;t ride with winter cycling shoes and sp far they have worked just fine. In colder weather (in the 30s)I have used them with shoe covers (on med and low settings), but in milder weather (40s) they worked great even without the shoe covers (and on the medium setting). We'll see how they do at closer to 0 degrees, but I'm feel pretty confident they'll work fine on the high setting, with shoe covers.I couldn't be happier that I found something that din't have cost $150+. I look forward to giving these a go when huntin as well. While the batteries won't last all day, I figure I can keep them on for an hour or so, then turn them off, and then turn them back on again to save the battery life.

The socks are great as far as an insulated sock goes
I got these socks for when I’m working outside all night in the cold. The socks are great as far as an insulated sock goes, the heater is another story. To get any heat you have to have them turned on high and only one sock puts out decent heat, the other doesn’t really put any heat at all. Another problem is the plug for the battery, it comes unplugged so it will just stop working. The battery also only last a few hours so not a good all day heat source.

Yep, they actually work, and pretty well at that.
My son and I go fishing quite regularly all the way up to winter. There are times when there is snow on the ground and our feet are absolutely freezing. Cold hands and cold feet are the absolute worst so I decided to try these socks out to see if they might be a possible solution for my feet at least. I actually tried them out at work since it's not winter yet and I was amazed at how well they do actually work. In fact, I had to turn it down to low or medium because they were getting a little too warm. The only thing I'd like to see improved is that the heating element be moved closer to the toes which I think would really help better in keeping my feet warm. Also, the socks don't go up as high as I would like. Since I often wear large hiking socks that go up to my knees to help keep my legs warm when I go fishing, it would have been nice if these socks would have gone a little higher as well. However, the socks are quite thick and look to be very well made. All in all, I do think these will do the trick.

They are keepers!
Bought as a gift for a friend who likes riding motorcycles in winter but complains that at times get feet and hands get cold during the ride even though she wears gloves and socks. So I gave her these as a gift. She had opportunity to try them last night and contacted me to say thank you cause her feet were kept comfortably warm during the ride and was even comfortable to wear while walking. Although it has only one temp she's said it got warm enough to keep her and her feet happy while wearing them. She hinted she'd love to have a pair of heated gloves like the ones I recently gifted her husband with (lol).

Works as advertised. Recommended.
These socks work as advertised and are well constructed and comfortable. The times indicated over which the battery will discharge are accurate. I would suggest putting a Velcro or button closure on the sock's battery pocket, as otherwise it is possible the batteries could be knocked out and come unplugged, which just happened to me today. Also there is only one port on the battery pack, so you cannot charge them while still getting the benefit of warm toes!Extra battery packs can be ordered here, check the PROSmart amazon seller. The 3.7v li-ion battery is available everywhere, but I don't see this actual battery pack on amazon. There are other heated clothing battery packs, but none exactly like what comes with these socks.

These did not heat up
I really wanted these socks to work. I tried so many things to make them work, but they just didn't heat up.I charged both batteries fully, as the instructions said. I put the socks on, inside the house at 65 degrees. and put them on low. I felt nothing after 5-10 minutes. I put them on medium, and again felt nothing after 5-10 minutes. I then put them on high, and was able to BARELY feel some warmth coming from the sock.I put on shoes, thinking that the pressure of the sock against the shoe might amplify some of the heat. again, after 30 minutes of wearing shoes, inside the house, I felt nothing.after one hour, on high, I still do not feel any noticeable warmth on my foot that would encourage me to wear these outside and hope to have warm feet. I wanted to wear these for winter cycling, in sub 32F weather where my toes can get numb after an hour or two in the cold. if these socks can not provide any noticeable heating indoors, with or without shoes, I am not even going to try them in the cold. I am returning them, and will keep trying.I am not sure of other reviews indicating noticeable warmth. BOTH socks for me have barely percievable heating on high setting. thankfully Amazon has an easy return policy. if you buy these, good luck.

These are not suitable for very cold feet! They're not warming enough!!!
Please be advised that these socks only warm the top part of the foot - arguably the part of the foot that suffers least in cold conditions. I charged them for 12 hours and set them to the highest setting. I then took a one hour bike ride with them on full blast and my toes were still numb with cold! In September! In London! Even the part of my foot that was being heated was not especially warm! I hate to say it but they're useless. Sorry guys.

Don't waste your money
For that price, I expect a little more. I worn it for awhile, I felt nothing, I mean it's not even warm. I thought it wasn't connected, my husband check, it was all good and I tried it again, still nothing. Waste of money, how can you charge a pair of sock for over $100 and did nothing.
