Great product, I use it to make homemade tortillas and nachos. Delicious However I would advise not to purchase simply because it is shipped in a plastic bag/envelope which is not enough to support the plastic bag containing the flour. Mine arrived split open. I made customer service aware the product needed to be shipped boxed to avoid this problem and nothing happened... My second order arrived in the same plastic envelope. split open. Maybe if you order it in combination with other items they'll have no choice but to use a box for shipping.

This is the best flour for tortilla making at home.

I have been buying and trying different brands of “so called” flour but they did not taste anywhere near the original “Masa Harina” I grew up eating and loving. This is extremely close to that taste, texture and smell were almost identical and it was fresh so I will definitely keep buying it and am thrilled I found it. Made chili as right away and my family loved them and commented that they tasted like their grandmother who has been gone for 30 yrs so think my mom was smiling

I bought a tortilla press and this flour at the same time, just wanted to give both a try to see if I could make them salt free. Both the press and the flour were great. The flour is very fine ground but not to the extremity of corn starch, it was a light yellow and had some darker kernel hull bits here and there just like you see in corn meal. It was free of any lumps or rough bits, mixed easily with the water and salt in the recipe and held it's shape when pressed and toasted in the pan. The bag has a recipe for tortilla dough but I was thinking it would make some delicious hush puppies if the dough was a bit thinner. That may be my next recipe to try out!

Perfect. Immediately used it to thicken a batch of chili and it adds fantastic aroma and a little tamale like zing to the chili.

My first purchase of Masa Harina corn flour; used reviews to select this brand. Made 50/50 tortillas; good result. I like it better than store bought; I hope to improve my technique with experience.
