These hoses seem to be quality construction. I do wish they'd sell 2 foot long ones, since I don't need all that extra hose behind the washer. This one seemed to me the best value. Sturdy and bends well. Seems they may last as long as the washer. Do think that the hose will outlast the washers. Probably best to replace the washers every 5 years? Nicer look than the black rubber hoses. No regrets.

Bought a new washer. Was not going to pay dealer $38 for a new hose for hook up. Purchased this item from Amazon for a lot less. Had my plumber install washer. He said the product I'd provided him for hook up was excellent quality. I am pleased I saved $

Bought these hoses to replace rubber ones that has started to leak after about 20 years. Living in a multi-dwelling unit, I felt better to go with the steel braided encased hoses rather than simple rubber. They were very easy to install on the first try. I held my breath turning on the valves slowly but no leaks. They seem to work just fine and the cost was very reasonable. I would say, compared to pure rubber hoses, they are very stiff so they do not flop down nicely. I don't know if they will soften over time but not really an issue. I am happy with my purchase. Also, they arrived in one day which was awesome.

These hoses made hooking up the washing machine extremely simple. They are color coded for hot and cold water. These were purchased to replace hoses that were six feet in length that came with the new washer. The shorter four foot hoses and 90 degree connectors made it possible to move the washing machine closer to the wall. GREAT PRODUCT!

I like the fact it has a 10 year warranty. I like the fact it has a quality construction inner core. Although these have a smaller diameter I’m not sure what effect it has as they were for my Aunt. The other generic stainless steel hoses I’ve had rusted pin holes that leaked.

Works as expected. Replaced 14 year old hoses that need to be replaced. Seams like excellent quality.

These are great when installed correctly!! Correctly is not that hard to do. However, for the sake of it, I will write that one of the pipes in our laundry room was painted red, and I thought it would carry hot even though it was on the right hand side. Well, that was a mistake, it wasn't red because of the water, it was red because a previous owner thought the whole room should be red and was sloppy around the cold line. Anyhow, in reversing them back to their correct pipes, the pipe cracked and we experienced a major deluge causing us to rip up the laminate flooring and install. The process took much longer than we expected due to product being out of stock, but finally it was done correctly and life is good. In short, before installing, especially in a new location, test the water first and then install. The lines are awesome and highly recommended.

If you use rubber hoses and one bursts and floods out your laundry room .. there's an excellent chance your insurance company won't pay out because they require you to use "burst proof" hoses. Use these. Good price, too. And don't even think about using garden hoses. Just don't.

Easy install, same connections as the rubber ones I took off. I have put breaded water lines on everything in house. Dishwasher, fridge waterline, toilets and now the washing machine.
