The Macally Small Wireless Keyboard is my go-to keyboard to connect to my Windows laptop. I don’t use the mouse that came with it (not because it’s not good, but because I have a different one). Over the years, It’s hard for me to use a full size keyboard with a number pad because of how it offsets my typing and wrist issues. This keyboard is perfect. I only have the alphanumeric keys and it functions amazing. I have had this keyboard for several years and the little soft feet just start coming off of it. It’s not as quiet as a Mac keyboard but not super loud like a mechanical keyboard. It sits in that pocket for noise of right in between these levels. When I travel for work, I take this keyboard with me. I can use the laptop keyboard (with the number pad) but it’s not my first choice if I can help it. It comes with a USB-A/B for your computer, and that brings consistency for working, but I wish I had gotten the Bluetooth version that is available now. Regardless, this product is a workhorse and it durable. The price point for this product great, and I have seen the value of this product over the several years I have used it. The size is perfect for me but if you want the full size keyboard, they have one there for your needs as well. You can’t go wrong with this product especially if you love small keyboards like me!

Suprisingly Long battery life. No messing with Bluetooth every time you use it, they can be used when in BIOS settings as well. This is the old "radio wave" style, not bluetooth, and has a longer distance for a steady connection. I can roam about 50 feet away easily with my radio-wave headphones, keyboard and mouse, compared to 30 feet for Bluetooth. And it never needs to be re-connected again if it loses signal. The USB Dongle is standard USB size and works perfectly with USB -c or Thunderbolt to USB standard. These cheap adapters ($4 and can stay attached to dongle, they are very small about the size of the dongle itself. Storage for Dongle fits in either mouse or keyboard securely. I have programmed an extra dongle, just to have a spare. Most people do not know almost ANY dongle can be reprogrammed, if you have lost the mouse or keyboard it went too, or in case you have extra ones from another set and want to reprogramm it for your new one. Logitech and other companies have simple free software that can program nearly any dongle for one or more devices including multiple devices like this Macally system that match the keyboard and mouse together on one dongle. Or a mouse, trackball, or pen or other remote usb devices to a single computer dongle. Just as easy or easier than Bluetooth without ever having to "pair" it. It also makes your computer battery last longer because it is not being drained by the constant bluetooth wireless service. Product is Well made, and very useful on the road without having to find room in a soft computer case for a keyboard with the ten key set that is rarely used. A back lit feature and tall back legs would be useful. Uses standard batteries and I change them twice a year - with daily use. Smart system can turn itself off when not used. Best set I have bought. I have multiple new and old laptops, this is the only reliable system for that kind of use, and not have to mess with Bluetooth pairing constantly on some older and new models of Lenovo, Dell, and HP.

I did really like this, but was having trouble with the mouse. The scroll wheel would stick if I was also holding the left side down. Made it difficult to highlight sections continuing down a page. Could just be the one mouse I got. Otherwise, it was so convenient! Easy plug and play. The size is just like a laptop keyboard. Very lightweight. Came with 4 AAAA batteries.

I was super disappointed with a previous budget keyboard + mouse from a different brand (which I ended up returning) and decided to try my luck with this one. Needless to say I kept my expectations super low. Surprisingly, I ended up being fairly happy with this product! Works great with my Samsung tablet. - Design: As seen in the pictures, the keyboard is slightly raised in the back (likely necessary to store the batteries). I didn’t find this to be uncomfortable at all. It’s low enough to still be viable for long typing sessions. The keyboard itself is super light, which is great for portability. - Keys: The scissor switch keys seem to be of decent quality and it doesn’t feel like Macally has cut any corners here. Considering this is a slim design, they’re fairly ‘punchy’ and don’t sink into the keyboard or feel mushy at all. The layout is fairly standard so I was able to start typing naturally right out of the box. - Battery life: Haven’t had it long enough to be able to test this yet, but I do appreciate that there’s an off switch for both the keyboard and mouse. Additionally I feel the AAA batteries are a better deal versus rechargeable devices so I don’t have to worry about the diminishing returns with charge cycles over time. - Responsiveness: As this is using a 2.4Ghz channel, I don’t have to worry about Bluetooth lag. So far everything has felt instantaneous. - Mouse: The mouse is super slim, which was surprising at first. So if you’re looking for an ergonomic mouse or your hands are on the larger side then this might be a bit uncomfortable after long usage. However if you’re looking for something slim and portable that you can store anywhere, then this should be a bonus. The quiet mouse clicking felt a bit unusual at first but I’ve actually come to like this feature. Tracking seems solid and DPI adjustment is nice to have. Overall I think this is a great product, especially if you need something to throw in your backpack for traveling or are looking for a more natural setup to replace your typical cramped tablet keyboard. The usual saying is "you get what you pay for," however in this case I think Macally did a great job for the price point.

I really love this keyboard/mouse combo! I needed to get an external keyboard to help make my space more ergonomic and this beaut does the trick! The mouse is lightweight and the buttons are silent and really smooth to click. I love that the mouse goes on "sleep" mode when not in use and requires a little click of the button to wake it up The keyboard size matches my laptop so its super easy transition and super light weight. The keys are a little bit louder than my laptop, so when working next to someone, they may hear you clickity clacking away. Does not bother me!

I just live this keyboard and it's mouse. They make my working experience enjoyable. Only draw back for is that the keyboard are not back-lit.
