Great power supply
We purchased this power supply to power a 12 volt cooler when it wasn’t plugged into a 12 volt circuit to precool the color and it works great no power surge and high enough amperage to run it if we need it.

Caution: Works well, but gets very hot!
Works well, but gets very hot when used to power a 12V fan.

Great value and works perfect...
Some say it gets hot mine does not...Runs my new Koolatron rated at 5 amps. and get 36 degrees in the cooler with outside temp at 80...It could be a defect if it gets hot or maybe they are placing it on carpet or something?...Definitely watch out with any inverter/converter or charger device...If it gets real hot shut it off...It needs to be on a cool surface too...Not wrapped in a towel...

Similar and maybe better than my old 12 year adapter.
I have buy 2 of those , I will reorder and extra one . this is the exact power 5 amp AC TO 12 DC ADOPTER. I HAVE TESTED BEFORE REVIWED THIS PRODUCT. Now I could state it is good guality.

Works really well. Able to bring my 12 volt ...
Works really well. Able to bring my 12 volt DC Lowrance GPS inside, convert from 110 AC in to 12 volt DC. Able to load trails and conduct GPS functions from the comfort of my chair.

It works... but... I ...
It works ...but... I have to say that when plugged in directly to my cars 12v the fan in my koolatron runs faster. When using the inverter it seems to be limiting it slightly. Just doesn't sound the same. But it still cools. I have a company van with a factory installed 1000 watt inverter so the AC power to the unit shouldn't be an issue. I just wanted to free up my 12v outlet for my portable oven.
