Definitely worth owning if you want a single tool for multiple uses like most repairman/service persons do. Because they're approx twice the price of the Channelock pliers that I have (& really like) & most other pliers, the Value for Money seems a bit steep. That said, they're also taking the place of about 4-5 individual tools, so they're actually good value when you look at it that way. On the actual tool, I like it. A lot. Good sturdy German build feel about it. Nice grips, positive action. Only thing I don't enjoy about this set, is being the spring loaded set, they're constantly trying to open which gets in the way in my toolbox, pocket etc. The locking nib needs another step so they can be locked completely shut. But I fixed that myself thus far with fitting a velcro strap to the handle. Overall, as I expected, def worth having in your pocket/toolbar. Saves multiple tools, comfortable, nice smooth action, good quality. You get what you pay for, & at this price you're paying for darn good quality.

Other electricians are always asking where I got this tool. Its versatility really does make it the "go to" tool in my bags for al lot of jobs. The legendary Knipex quality is there as well.

I love them so much the price dosnt matter but they need to make a USA version with the opening spring and I would have been way more pleased but the wire size is metric so it dosnt exactly match the wire here but everything I own is knipex I’m a commercial electrician and really would like a pair of 1000vlt strippers with the spring if I get get a msg back it would be greatly appreciated

These are the pick of the litter! The areas that are ground are exceptional; whereas the visual forging is decent. The spring is hidden and very strong. The mechanism is easy to use and the jaws are versatile. The spring is always active.
