Forgive my ignorance, how is this used in swimming? Do we place between our legs? if so, how do we kick then? Please educate me on this one. Thanks !

Ok, the pull buoy is a basic piece of swimming equipment used to improve a swimming's power. A buoy is typically held between the thighs to float the hips and legs at the surface of the water. The action of swimming with a buoy is called pulling because only the arms are used for forward momentum.

One comment said less drag; one said more. I get drag (which I want, to work the arms) from just not kicking. Will this increase arm work (my goal)?

Hi there! The pull buoy's dimensions: 5 1/2" x 9 1/4" (give or take 1/8"). This particular design is MUCH better than the buoys with equal sized ends. Swim with the larger end of the buoy facing up...towards the ceiling. I hope my response is helpful to you. :)
