Customize your computer with this Logitech wireless keyboard. Laser-etched backlit keys let you work in virtually any lighting conditions, while the proximity sensors detect your hands to power on the backlights. The PerfectStroke system allows for whisper-quiet, responsive typing. Featuring a unifying receiver, this Logitech wireless keyboard lets you connect one or many mice with just one USB port. Review: High quality, and very worth every penny, for me. - I love this keyboard enough that I have paid an exorbinant price just to be sure that I have a backup. Review: Best wireless keyboard ever made - I've been using this model of keyboard for 15 years now, and I will never use another. I have 4 of them in the closet just in case, since it's long discontinued and getting very expensive. It's the only keyboard I've ever found that works so well for use in my recliner. My only gripe is that the backlighting will usually stay on after I move my hands away. I'm on my 2nd one in 15 years now, and both of them have had the same problem. As good as it is in every other way, I'll deal with it. Comfortable to use, quiet keys, and well laid-out with a properly sized backspace key and quick access controls across the top. Best design ever in the history of keyboards.

Great keyboard, but drivers unavailable at LogiTech
I had this keyboard for years and loved it. However, when I tried to pair this newer one to my desktop ,the drivers were no longer available at LogiTech. Sad. I would have given it five stars if it had worked!

Still in Popular Demand after 24 Years
The best keyboard that Logitech ever made. Is still in demand after 24 years and going for 2 to 4 times its selling price. I am on my fourth K800 wireless illuminated with numeric island keyboard. My first one lasted seven years as you could unscrew and clean out the end size. The ones that came after were glued shut and could not be opened, and does not last as long. This particular one, doesn’t even have batteries and cannot be opened so I don’t know how long it’s gonna last, but I am grateful one was available to buy. Just to let you know it’s not a gaming keyboard and I am a fast typist. It is the most comfortable indented keys that allow your fingers to stay on them and as far As I am concerned, allows me to type faster with few mistakes she correct. There is also a smaller one just like this, the K810 without the American Island. I highly recommend you try this keyboard, but be careful who you buy from. Amazon back of its products and was paying a little bit more.

Carefull.... Be ready to return... Most resellers selling almost identical y-r0065 in place.
The original K800, worth every cent of its $100.00 price tag is hard to get except direct from Logitech. Resellers either unknowingly or in an attempt to make more money, are swapping out the inferior Y-R0065 keyboard, part of the MX900 combo set from what I can find, in place for the more expensive K800. Logitech used almost Identical parts in both of their construction, even down to the same back cover place with "K800" stamped on it, even though you can look at the part number and see its a Y-R0065. The original K800 lasted me over 6 years with excessively heavy use on it. I am an IT consultant and administrator for several companies as well as an avid gamer so hours of use ever day! The two Y-R0065 keyboards I have bought both failed right about a year in, one even D.O.A. and had to be replaced right away. Most definitive way to tell is the battery. If it has 2 Ni-MH batteries in back, your good. If you take the back cover off and see white plastic, you have the Y-R0065. Model number will tell you too i guess.... **UPDATE** Finally! after digging and digging, I found out what happened! in 2013, Bracken Darrell became CEO, and the whole Swiss company did a 180 policy change. They changed several suppliers and redesigned most of their product line. That's how we got from the Wonderful Quality original K800, to the piece of crap Y-R0065 that everyone is selling now under the K800 model. I'm afraid the days of Logitech as a High Quality peripheral MFG are gone. What we are left with is a very cheap shell of what it was, selling everyone excessively inferior products via their hard won quality reputation, the previous CEO built. Anymore, your just buying their brand, not a good product! DO NOT BUY ANY LOGI or Logitech products! not worth it! You can find much higher quality from other USA based MFG's. Look for anyone use Cherry switches for their Keys, should be a decent keyboard.
