Useful for posture and sore back/shoulders
This is a nifty little gadget. From the first day I wore it, I felt an immediate difference. I wore the support brace for a few hours and when I took it off, the first time my shoulders slumped, I FELT it! It made me hyper aware of the discomfort and alerted me to stand straighter. I have a slight stenosis in my spine and terrible posture so I’m really hoping that consistent use of this will train my muscles to stand straighter and help support my back, along with some strength training. The only downside is more user error. I think I got a size too big. I did measure it based on the chart but it’s quite possible I measured wrong as I did it on myself. I think I could have afforded to go smaller in order to get a more snug fit. That said, I’m really enjoying using this and look forward to seeing what kind of progress I will make with it.

this does absolutely nothing
I wish I had tried this earlier. I didn't realize i was past the window of return. This posture corrector does nothing. I tried to adjust it several ways. I tried to wear it all day to see if it could actually be adjusted. When adjusting the straps it just rides higher and higher on the back. It does not keep your posture upright at all. There is no way to fix this to ensure that it stays lower on the back so your shoulders pull back. It is absoluteley a waste of money. I wish I could return it.

It is good to wear
I've had this for about 3 weeks now and my overall feel for this product is that it's nice to wear during the workday as I work at home all day, but I don't think I'd wear this to work or under my shirt. I wear this while I work during the day and it's an excellent reminder to not lean forward to type--just scoot closer to the desk then type. I think that aspect of wearing this product is very good. I give it 4 stars because on the other hand, it's decently comfortable and I tried wearing this under my shirt on a ~3 mile run and I didn't really feel support from it and it gave me a rash. I also wore this over my shirt on a 2 or 3 hour walk / hike with some friends, but I didn't really feel support from it yet again. So, overall I like this for working from home, but I would not wear this outside. Also, it kind of makes me want to get something heavier duty. So I like the concept of this product but I may like a heavier duty one rather than this one, but once again for working at home it's nice--but lacking comfort. I think I could wear this to the office but I wouldn't wear this under my shirt I'd wear two shirts and put it underneath the 2nd one.

Could use some improvements
The straps that go under your arm needs something on the edges as it cuts into your skin. Outside of that, it works well

Good Looking Stuff, Instructions Not Much Help
Posture support rig looks great, sturdy material. Instructions are a joke (ridiculously tiny print, no useful photos or diagrams). Difficult to put on, impossible to adjust -- I tried twice, then tossed it in the "Goodwill" box. Back brace is somewhat better -- incomplete instructions, but not too difficult to figure it out via trial & error. Comfortable enough to sleep in, not sure how much weight I can carry while wearing it, though.

This beautiful Dr. Arthritis Posture Support works wonders immediately, and it only gets better!
As soon as I started wearing the Dr. Arthritis Posture Support, I couldn't believe how much better I felt! I could breathe much easier, and my constant shoulder and rib pain were greatly reduced. And with continued wear, my pain relief continued to improve. But, the best part is that after wearing the Support for only a short time, my posture without it is unbelievably better because it trained my body to feel what good posture is. And, if I notice that I'm starting to slouch, all I have to do is wear the Support again to remind my body of what good posture feels like. I just can't say enough about the "magic bullet" effects of this Support, plus it's really pretty, easy to adjust, comfortable to wear and inexpensive. Thanks again, Dr. Arthritis, for another wonderful product and accompanying doctor written handbook.

Bad Design
Despite the photos and illustrations we were not able to even approximate the smooth fit that would be comfortable and do the job of pulling his shoulders back, reminding him to stand straight, etc. I asked my PT about it, and he said that these things can do more harm than good, as they don't treat the cause of why the patient is stooping! Without addressing the chairs used for computer work, the car seat, etc. etc. you are simply trading one irregular muscular contraction for another, and bound to cause more issues. In any event, it would not have done the job of reminding him to stand erect, as the way it fit under the arms was so loose it had him standing like a chicken, wings out, to avoid the discomfort!

Best quality I've had so far
This is my 3rd posture corrector. I've been targeting the $15 products and this is the best I've gotten so far. I figured I'd like to keep these in a few different places (work, car, home) and used the opportunity to try a few different ones. I felt that this one was the most comfortable and discrete. The cushion along the spine was great and the straps over the shoulders were a good width too. The straps to tighten the device were kind of like seatbelt-woven material - just not as wide. It was a classy touch and was thick enough to withstand buckling (with the tightness I used). My other ones would be uncomfortable in the armpits with thin straps or was thick enough to buckle/bunch up and make my underarms warmer. Of course, using it as something to keep your back completely straight vs. something to reduce the hunching of your shoulders will dictate how tight you make the straps and how well/poorly the underarm straps perform. One thing I noticed while using this was that I was hunching from my lumbar section (which this does not help with). I have another that goes around my midsection to address this but is the difference between wearing a jacket and zipping up the jacket (if you don't want people to see you wearing it). This one seemed easy enough to identify which way to put it on (vs inside-out/upside-down) and easy to put on too. The hook-loop fastener isn't super sticky so it's not really loud when adjusting it and is strong enough to hold your shoulders back. This likely won't be my last posture corrector (I have one that I would rather replace) and although I am curious to how the ~$25 ones perform, I am skeptical if it will be worth the 60% increase in price - especially since I am satisfied with this one.
