Like others have stated these are a little stiffer than factory. I bought these to replace the old gross factory pads I had on. I switched to DT 770 Pros and these have been sitting in a drawer for a while. Decided to whip em back out and replace the pads and these worked nicely. These have a bit of a contour shape too. Factory pads were more flat. So far so comfy. Nothing to complain about.

Frustrating to install but they have good construction and a nice feel. These seem to be the K702 cuffs, not anything like the K712 Pro cuffs.

These are a sort of good replacement for the originals, which had deteriorated. I would prefer them slightly softer, which is how I imagine the originals were.The build quality is great

My headphones are fairly old, so I can't say I remember precisely what they felt like originally, but this feels good. Installation is about as easy as it could get with this headphone design.

These pads raise the height of the headphones away from your eartips, which is direly needed on the AKG 702 HPs. The velous cover on these is more plush, and the pads are taller, but also softer and more comfortable. The K702 HPs sound better when raised away from the head. These are the best deal on Amazon and the most comfortable option I have ordered.

I bought these to replace the pads on my K172 Pro's. I know they're angled and meant for something like the K702, so I'm using a parametric EQ for the K702's with Equalizer APO and the sound quality is very good. I've tried more expensive pads and they had issues with muddy bass or harsh highs, these inexpensive pads sound better. I also like that they rotate to snap on like the original pads, unlike some pads that have to be stretched over.

These are K70x pads. If you want your K712 to sound like a K702, they'll make it happen. But, they are not a correct replacement. Quality seems to be OK, though.

Nice quality fit and comfort. And like others said, the angle is right and bass response nice. The downside is these are nearly impossible to install out of the box. To make it easy, use needle nose pliers to slightly bend the 4 tabs that catch to the headphone body upward a tiny bit (when holding a pad with the ear side down). This allows the tabs on the pad to slide under the tabs on the body much easier. It still takes some effort to rotate the pad to get it to click in place, but about like the OEM pad in this regard. Once clicked in, it is very secure with no play. I put them on my early Austrian K701 and very pleased. I actually like the look of the black pad on the white headphone, though the original grey is nice too.

I found the comfort of the headphone was like new and the unexpected bonus of better sound. I didn't realise their was an angle to them but one should always read the instructions which i didn't but it wasn't difficult to rectify. Very happy customer. :)

My old pads were so shot these were a breath of life for my older cans. Twist on lugs fit and they match the factory pads for tilt and seem about as firm and have the same amount of depth as I remember. So, all good. The 702's are back in service. Good times. Thanks!

Needed replacement earpads for my AKG K702 and thought I would order these from Accessory House, a company I had never heard of before but will look out for in the future. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of these earpads, I was expecting the same as before but these earpads are actually better than the original earpads that come with K702's, in my opinion. Allot more comfortable, and softer on my head than the originals. Add to that that they make the mids sound a little bit warmer and smoother, and we're on to a winner here! I like the dark colour tone of these AH earpads too, they are darker than the originals and look allot more fancy and premium. Absolutely 5 stars from me.

Hard to put on, but when on it s feel like new

My only gripe was that they were a pain to install. I honestly cannot fathom why. Maybe the measurements were off by a stupid half millimetre or something, or maybe I was just unlucky. Got there in the end thoughThat aside, these are great. My 5 year old headphones feel brand new again!Very happy!
