Great present especially for the birthday child and shareable with the non birthday child. Bought the other 5 Little Monkeys ( take a bath) to also share. Everyone was happy. Read both of them every night of visit upon request.

The author of this book, Eileen Christelow, has a way of making stories fun because of the melodic candence they have. Young children enjoy her books & enjoy having these books read to them. You will find that Five Little Monkeys books will become your child's (children's) favourite!UNFORTUNATELY, NEVER RECEIVED THIS ORDER, SO I DON'T KNOW HOW THE BOOK IS IN 2021.

Kids love this book and adults don't mind reading it to them. Stories sre always cute.

my daughter loves these book bought the whole series. We've read them so many times she knows them by heart. It's a great way to get the kids into reading.

Another great story. "Five Little Monkeys Wash the Car" is still the best one, but I'd say this is a tie for second with "...Jumping on the Bed." The alliteration and rhyming words delight a two-year-old.

Grand daughter loves these books

My daughter is the hugest fan of Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, so we got a couple more in the series. It's just not the same without the singsongy rhyming. This book has a more traditional storytelling, and isn't rhythmic like the original (I assume the bed one is the original), so it isn't as beloved, nor as fun to read out loud. It's a cute little book, though.

I bought this originally for one of my Toddlers who was refusing to take a bath at home to encourage her to take one and show them how much fun a bath could be. They absolutely loved it, I then showed my Toddlers (2- 2.6yrs), but they weren't keen as I could see them expecting it was going to be like the nursery rhymes, 5 cheeky monkeys jumping on the bed and swinging in the tree. They didn't listen to it well when read in a group or 1-1. Instead I gave it to our Rising 3s room (2.6 - 4yrs) and they loved it, learning the colourful words and repeating them again.Great for 3yrs+.

we already own a few Five Little Monkey books, which my kids really enjoy. This one is nice, too, bt rather for little kids with little text, + the little there is phrased in very simple sentences.
