Tropical Mini Algae Wafers Fish Food, 3.0 oz (85g)

Every single time that I buy hikari, my fish absolutely love it. Unfortunately I have baby bristlenose plecos and I was having to break up the normal hikari algae waivers into four pieces. I thought I would give these mini ones a try and they are the absolutely the best size for small bottom dwellers. Shrimp and snails love them too. It's just like the large size only you don't have to break them up into pieces.

My fish love these and a bag lasts a long while. Great value.

All the animals in my tank go crazy for them. The shrimp, snails, betta. I like that they’re bigger cause the betta can snip at them without eating it whole. Which was the problem with the old pellets I was using. The betta would eat them and leave my shrimp foodless. They sink fast and you can break them into smaller pieces if you want. I’m a big fan.

According to our 10" long algae eater, who looks suspiciously like the cover model of the product, these hit the spot when truly hungry, however, he sometimes prefers to let the wafers soak up tank water for a day or so prior to consumption because the anticipation of a slimy bloated green pellet is so preferable to a new crunchy tab. Apparently I have over estimated his appetite, or he simply prefers 'real' algae on the sides of the tank, which is freshly made daily. In any event, we will continue providing for our gentle giant of the tank for fear he gets hungry and becomes a carnivore. Resealable packaging is fine, shipping quick and painless.

Been using these for years now! Unless I find a need for bigger wafers, these are a go-to for any shrimp keeper or other algae scavengers. Remember they will float around and possibly land in a less than desired location for your intended crew, so it’s recommended to either drop near your background plants or at night when your lights go off to be sure your nocturnal wet pets get to them before everyone else!

I feed only Hiraki to my shrimp and now that my snail needs assistance, this is where I turn. This is the food that gets eaten. It sinks, a little slowly, but it sinks. No excess clouding that I've noticed. All in all a quality product.

I have been keeping fish for over 25 years and these Hikari products are the best. My fish love them. They are full of the nutrition fish need to grow and thrive and apparently taste good to them. As soon as I feed them they are all over them. They come in a resealable pouch for ease of use and functionality. They have no smell and do not cloud the water. They are a great value for the money and I know my fish are getting exactly what they need ! I recommend this product for your fish along with other Hikari products. Always read and follw directions.

J'avais acheté ça pour complémenter à l'occasion mes otocinclus car ils ont nettoyé mon bac de fond en comble, mais il ne les mangent pas.

I have had to break wafers up for various aquariums in the past but with these they are small enough that they work well as is. My bottom dwellers and guppies love these. They are very clean and don’t make the water cloudy.

Hikari è una garanzia. Ottimo mangime per erbivori ed onnivori (per variare la dieta). Unico problema: non utilizzare con i platy. Ho avuto un paio di decessi causa soffocamento non bocconi troppo grandi di questi wafer. Con Sewellia e Guppy nessun problema.
