Easy to get on and off, which was important for me following extended hospital stays and extremely limited mobility. I'm in my 30s but following a coma, experienced regular swelling, drop foot, and neuropathy in my right foot. This shoe has been easy to manage, easy to fit an orthotic in, and although black, isn't terribly hot it 100° plus weather. While I'm not out running marathons, I have put the shoes to good use over the last year and they still look to have a lot of life (and tread) left in them. Very comfortable as well, even with an orthotic shoved in. They do show dirt easily, as seen in the photo. They clean off well enough, but I'm not too particular about it living in the desert haha. Lots of life left in them and don't see myself needing to replace in the near future.

Fit well and user friendly.

I find that I need a shoe with straps instead of laces, that feels comfortable, and that looks as much as possible like a black business shoe. Shoes with straps are hard to find where I live. These are all-black, have leather uppers and are fairly soft. I wear them semi-actively all day most days, or until they start feeling uncomfortable. The problem for me is that after 10 or 12 months, they start to show noticeable wear. The joint between the foot pad and the inner wall starts feeling uncomfortable after, say, 8 hours of wearing them. And the edges of the soles start to come apart around that same time. I'm probably unrealistic thinking any shoe in heavy use should last more than a year, but shelling out $80 every 15 to 16 months bothers me. Also, the tread is tight. That helps the business-like appearance, but it's hard to clean. On the whole, I don't think there's anything better for the money, but at the end of a long day it's hard to think they're perfect.

These shoes are wonderful for heavy men who don't like bending over.

My son has cerebral palsy and needs comfortable shoes that have great support, and are easy to get into. This fits the bill. It comes in a variety of widths and we have purchased them many times. It's lightweight and durable.

I got the white ones because they were the best price. Just needed some outdoor yard shoes and dog walkers. Quality control is pretty bad. One shoe fit and the other really hurt for a while. Finally breaking in. Also, the straps are uneven in length.

Great fit

Comfortable shoes and durable. Bought them in '22 and wore them almost daily the soles show minimal wear. The only issue I've had is the Velcro on the straps, that's why only 4 stars. One shoe it delaminated from the strap, on the other shoe the Velcro failed to hold. This was on both main straps. This started 3-4 months ago and has gotten to the point they're not wearable. Overall, I can't complain I'd probably get another couple of years out of them if the Velcro hadn't failed.
