I purchased this to make a cat bed for my arthritic cat. He no longer feels safe jumping up on my bed and had difficulty jumping down because his back legs/hip area are athritic. My vet has prescribed meds for him, however, his bad experiences with jumping up on furniture means he prefers to sleep on the floor. I have other cats, and so I have a few cat beds. What I wanted was one that he could share with his buddy, who is about the same age. They cuddle up together now on the bed. Here's how I made the bed. I purchased the foam, then unwrapped it for a few days to "breathe" and then I folded it in half, made a pillowcasing out of an old sheet and a few seams later I had a slipcover for it. Then I wrapped a soft polyester throw over that. I am planning to shop for soft fake fur similar to their other cat beds, to make a pillowcasing. I don't like using zippers so I will sew on some large snaps (purchased on Amazon and used for lots of other things) so that I can easily take it off to wash.d I am very happy with the quality of the foam. The cats are about 13 lb each and while they snuggle onto the bed, they don't sink into it. Just the right amount of firmness. I can also sit comfortably on this bed. In the meantime, both cats are happily snuggled up on the cat bed. The bed fits nicely in the corner of our bedroom where we will not stumble over it. This was money well spent!

This foam was better than I expected. I definitely did not need 4” high with this high quality & dense foam. I used it for chair cushions & you can not feel the foundation board under it when sitting. This foam is a lot denser than other brands that I have seen in craft stores. It is exactly 4” high. Next time I will definitely order from this company but go with the 2” I used a serrated knife to cut it, it was a little difficult but got it done

I'm glad I ordered the Semi-Firm as the Firm would have been to hard for my needs. It came as the correct size that I ordered of 3"H x 24"W x 72"L. I'm using this as a mattress pad in the back of our SUV so I can lay flat on trips longer than 20 min due nerve damage in my spine and pelvis. I had to trim 3" off the width making it 21" wide to fit from the trunk through to the passenger side with rear seat laid flat. I had to trim an extra 1" to make a snug fit around the rear wheel well so it stays in place and straight. Then I cut the long edge in half to give me 2 x 36"L pieces for easy transport and setup. I used this on a trip last week with my head pillow and pillows under my knees and feet. This was very comfortable and was able to fall asleep. BTW- the easiest way to cut foam is with an electric kitchen carving knife which cuts quick with nice straight edges. My wife is good at sewing and will make zippered covers for both pieces to protect the foam and also hide the yellowing that occurs with age. I would definitely recommend this foam product.

I have a lot of chronic pain and I’ve always had to try to create a zero gravity kind of environment on my bed in order to lessen the pain when I sleep—usually with several feather beds, eggshells, memory foam mattress covers, pillows, blankets, towels in there—whatever makes it even and comfortable until a sleep number bed comes into the picture. I needed a new solution for my bed drama. I got two of these 5” semi-firm. And then tried just laying on those two in bed to lay on top of. Too firm. So what I did was used a big long bread knife and cut one into long strips. Then I put the strips together and duct taped them loosely to give more movement and less hard surface area. Then put that on my bed, added layers on top. Perfect solution. I had been having to recreate/reassemble this craziness every couple nights. Now it lasts for weeks. Huge. I also used part of the other one and cut it in strips (so I had 6 strips each 12”x24”) and laid three lengthwise across and underneath the couch cushions that I primarily sit on. then I stacked the other 3 on top of the first three so it was 3 strips w two layers each (12x24) under where my two couch cushions come together that I primarily use. Over the last couple years since I got this couch, as the cushions compressed, I had been shoving several blankets and pillows under in this area of it to try to help the pain in my hip when I laid on my side. It felt like I wasn’t even on cushions but was feeling the support bars for the couch. Hurt a ton hence why I’d been shoving padding under that section. This product, cut up in that way, immediately solved the problem on the couch hurting my hip. And now the couch lays evenly vs this huge budge of padding. So love these two solutions I was able to find w this. Total life change in the pain dept. not only that, these are so much more sturdy and HALF the price and thicker than traditional eggshells or even memory foam. We have a few left over strips that I’ll find a use for but wanted to share my trick of what I did to solve that semi-firm was still able to be comfortable for someone w a lot of pain by cutting into strips, taping back together to take even a bit more of the firm out. Super easy to cut w that bread knife. My man was trying to use a carpenter’s knife and it just caused chunks to come off and go everywhere. Bread knife is ur best bet if it’s sharp! Totally love these will buy again in the future. The reviews are what sold me on this product and I now echo them. Great product, arrived fast and has really impacted my life in terms of pain, hassle and even esthetic w not now having this huge bulge on my couch where all the padding was. Don’t hesitate this stuff rocks.

Received quickly and rolled to compressed. Once released it expands right away. I ordered an 3” thickness for a cushion replacement. Easy to cut to size with electric knife and/or a large serrated bread knife. Quality was great and firm for a cushion replacement. Button tufting the cushion was very easy once covered with upholstery fabric. Very happy. Left over section I cut off was large enough for a pet bed that I sewed a cover for. So I got double the use from one roll. Will order again from this seller.

The foam came in a small package but puffed up within a couple minutes. I used it under a chair cover because one seat on my sectional was breaking down. It’s very comfortable and worked perfectly.

It was a replacement for my sofa lining. It worked great a fit my 3 seater couch perfectly. Overall great thickness and quality!

I used this to make new RV seat cushions. The foam cuts super clean and easy if you use an electric knife. No mess and straight edges. The foam feels comfy yet firm to sit on and holds is shape really well. Great product!
