Best amazon purchase yet
Wow, this is one of those things that I am telling all my friends about. I bought several packs of seeds at my local nursery for 2.99 a pack and also gave Mary's heirloom seeds a shot. Both those were expensive, bulky and frankly had poor germination rate. I love that these come in little plastic zip locks. They have so many seeds. We did my garden and my son's and have at least 1/2 left. I love that you can save the seeds from them, but as cheap and easy as they are don't know why you wouldn't just buy a 2nd. Almost 100% germination rate. I screwed up because planted the premium seeds first and had such a poor germination that I planted these a little thicker. Big mistake as these almost all came up. I ended up taking seedlings from overplanting and furnished friends with vegetable starts. Just terrific and really good varieties. Several different of everything. Would cost 100-150 to buy at store. I have never been paid for a review and I purchased these and will purchase again next spring, maybe the fall.

Excellent Variety for Learning to Grow Food
I bought this product in 2017(It's 2026 now) and I am still growing from these seeds and the seeds collected from plants these seeds have grown. There was a link to a website with a information about growing each plant. It really helped me go from starter gardener to putting a serious dent in my grocery bill. I literally just finished using the last of the original onion seeds this January. There are so many types of seeds to experiment with. If I had to buy a pack of seeds each for all of the different plants that I have tried, it would cost me hundreds of dollars. This is a fantastic kit for people who want to grow a little bit of everything but have a small yard instead of a farm.

good seeds, did not receive additional support materials
Just put in my spring seed starts this weekend and have over 30% germination in 48 hours with almost 50% in 72 hours. I started them in peat pots for smaller direct transfer plants and transplantable pots with peat moss/compost mix for larger plants such as tomatoes, melons, peppers, etc. I have them in a tray on a seed heating mat with dome covers with good natural and grow lights. So far all look strong and healthy. I also direct sowed some kale and chard for early cool weather gardening but haven't seen those come up yet, although the weather has been tricky and unseasonably cold this year. The variety is lovely, but beans (fresh and dried) and corn are strangely absent. Also, they appear to be well packaged and will last for quite some time; all in all a great bargain for delicious eating.

So far a quality transaction
Received my package in the mail today and was pleased with the great packaging. All seeds are sealed as shown in the item description and are contained within a larger plastic envelope. Very neat and very well organized and absolutely no need for a fancy tin or otherwise. I am not knocking other kits out there but I wouldn't want my seeds stored in a metal tin that could rust anyway. I have a nice plastic ammo case that is supposed to be moisture proof that I will use. The seeds are also very clean and seem to be previously stored and dried properly so I have no concerns about any more than 15% sprouting failure unless it is my fault. I don't know where Home and Garden America gets their stock from but everything seems to be quality. Naturally I haven't planted yet but unless I have some sort of catastrophic failure I don't foresee myself deducting a star. Thanks for the extra tomato seeds. I have never planted a golden variety tomato and probably never would have if I wasn't given the complimentary packet. I downloaded the PDF from the website and it is a really good planting guide. The pictures are a fantastic feature as well. They are much nicer than just a bunch of text and they make reading the guide sort of enjoyable. Considering it is really just a collection of instructions that is a bit strange lol. I'm about to throw it on my tablet so I have it for quick reference when I am away from home. So quick shipping, good price, great packaging and great product support. The only thing that would make it better would be if Mr.Harmon came and installed my fencing and irrigation for me but..... I will probably update my review at the end of the growing season. Thanks
