My sons doing a tattoo on my thigh on wed night & I don’t want to cancel my cold water swimming briefly on Mon. Will this keep tat completely dry?

I would say that it will not keep your leg completely dry. As with most items of this sort you will have a certain amount of air caught within it when you put it on and once you get in to the water the change in pressure will force this air out and will inevitably allow water in. The seals are very good at keeping water out while showering but they are not strong enough to deal with your scenario, you would require the strength of deals found on dry suits for that. The other thing to consider is condensation caused by the difference in water temperature and the temperature of your leg. Even using this in the shower some condensation built up which is not a fault but just something that happens. Hope this helped.
