Adjustable Stop Snoring Chin Strap by AirPromise (Black)

How unfortunate! I could barely get this on my head (mature male, 6'4" and not overweight) with the two velcro size adjusters just barely joining. The chin strap could be "cupped" more. The under-ear straps meet in the back too high up and way off the neck from where they should be. The result: overly tight and uncomfortable.My head and many adult male heads are larger than the dummy head shown in the product image: that is a boy head.Is the design itself OK? Yes. The problem: this one-size-fits-all is suited to petite ladies and teen boys.The folks offering this "device" could have saved me from buying it by specifying two maximum circumferential tape measurement values ... or offering "small", "medium" and "large" sizes as determined by those two tape measure guidance values.

Giving two stars and the benefit of doubt that this product may be useful for the weak and infirmed. For most people who are in average or better physical condition, this chin strap is a waste of money. I have tried this one, as well as two others from well known suppliers... I was even wearing two at once, and still awoke with air loss from my cpap. Save some serious money, search the web, and make your own using Velcro and a brimless baseball hat. You get firm support for your chin that all other stretchy straps fail to provide. Getting this kind of support with a stretchy strap means you will have too much pressure around your head. Anyone out there in the market for three slightly used, but stretched out chin straps???

Worked ok for a couple of weeks, but it made me sweat a lot. because of this, I had to wash it after just a few uses. I hand washed it, and air dried it, yet the material stretched just enough to render the product useless. Subsequently, I have tried similar contraptions with similar results. This product is definitely a very short term solution. I am signing up for a sleep study review in order to hopefully find a suitable medical solution to my snoring issue that disturbs my restful sleep.

It fits ok and feels mostly comfortable while wearing. That's the only good thing about it. It has a very strong rubbery smell to it, which somehow sticks to your skin for hours after taking it off. Its not very pleasant.In addition, it doesn't do what it says its going to do, stop snoring. I put it on the first night, and my wife woke me up about 10 minutes after I fell asleep and said my snoring has never been louder. So this is more of a snore enhancer rather than an inhibitor. I would recommend wearing it when sleeping in a room with people you don't like as it'll increase your snore volume.

First let me say I've had to wear one for years due to my sleep apnea and most can be very scratchy and you just have to live with it. This strap is VERY soft and comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, that is where my admiration stops. For the first week everything was going well. From then on, every night it seemed, the strap seemed more loose and I had to tighten. After a couple of weeks I had to tightened it so often that it wouldn't fit right anymore. Like I said, I have purchase PLENTY of these types of straps in the past, and there is ALWAYS a breaking in period you have to go through to get the adjustment right. Unfortunately, for this product, that period of adjustment just never ended.

The product stays in place and keeps my chin from dropping open. The reason for returning the product is that it has a chemical smell that is similar to the smell of cheap balloons that stays on your face after removing the product. I've only wore the product once so I cannot say if the smell will lessen or not. It might help to wash with warm soapy water but I doubt that it will work but it might lessen the smell. Be aware there is a $5 return fee

I sleep with a cpap so sleeping with something on my head was easy to get use to, the material is soft and comfortable. I have been snoring with and without my cpap, so I was looking for something to try to help, with the good reviews I thought I would give this a try. I first slept with it on and without my cpap and I still snored, then even tried it with my cpap and still snoring. This was a waste of money for me. Only reason I gave it 2 stars was because of how soft and comfortable it is.

This definitely had the desired effect of keeping my jaw closed while sleeping, and is as comfortable as i could hope, but... It leaves terrible pressure marks on my face that take all day to go away. I have tried making it so loose it doesn't work as intended, and still i wake up with the outline of this thing on my face. Sadly renders it unusable for me.
