Best Cost vs Performance on Amazon
This cable is perfect for connecting an external hard drive to a computer or mobile phone for temporary/mobile data transfer uses. The casing and connections feel rebust, both being made of a similarly firm, dense rubber. I really appreciate having different cable length options but would prefer to have one maybe even a little shorter- a 10cm option would be great. I got the shortest, the 18 inch/40-ish cm option and it's simply too long. I like that it's plain black, matches the rest of my usual cables. This cable seems to work well at what it is meant to do, transferring data, and seems like it'll last- my one gripe is the lack of flexibility in the cable. I appreciate that it's thick and tough feeling but it's simply too stiff for me to be able to keep my drive where I want it without being moved by the cable returning to the shape it was packaged in. All in all, this is probably the best compromise of cost and quality you'll find on Amazon for this cable, having had to replace several cheaper and currently owning a couple nicer, more expensive options. I recommend it for sure.

Great Cable!
I bought this UGREEN cable expecting at least some greenness—maybe a green stripe, a green connector. Or MAYBE it would turn ME green like a budget Incredible Hulk? Nope. Just a perfectly functional, completely un-green cable.Despite this betrayal, it does exactly what it promises: moves data from A to B or B to A like an overachieving digital courier. My external drive connects instantly, files transfer at warp speed.Pros:1) Data zips through like it’s late for a meeting.Cons:1) Zero green.2) Did not turn me into a rage-powered superhero.Would I recommend it? Absolutely.

Just get it
It's a short cable but it's much better quality than the ones that come with external hard drives. I've had HDs that had come with bad cables so I just have gotten used to getting a new cable elsewhere.
