Beautiful results that are definitely worth it with a correct application process and aftercare <3
notice: I used this on long, lightened, fine, wavy/ slightly frizzy hair which I knew to have a slight dislike to protein. (if you use this on a different hair type your results may differ but the application process should be the same) What I noticed: Definitely worth it. I am on my 3rd month now and it is still super straight and beautifully shiny. It makes the hair look longer, shinier, and straighter, and also makes it heavenly easy to brush through, and really lovely to touch. In this sense, it can reduce damage to your hair over time because you are ripping less out with tension when brushing. I used the treatment on fine hair with the intentions of getting rid of frizzy / wavy hair at the bottom half of my hair, and it definitely makes the hair look so beautiful. I have had alot of compliments on how long and pretty and soft it looks since the treatment. I think to get this done in a salon instead would be a fat waste of money when the results from this kit are so pretty. The process I used and would recommend to use to avoid disappointment: For the application process I wore a face mask and opened my window and left a fan running as the fumes are potentially dangerous. The smell was slightly strange. I needed only about 70% of the treatment on my long fine hair, and hairdryed it on low and then high heat until it was relatively dry in my hair, and proceeded to straighten in small sections at 190-230 degrees C (necessary to seal the treatment in), passing over each section multiple times. I left it in for 2 days (It should be left in for 3 days) after straightening the treatment dry, and then washed using sulphate free shampoo. I was careful to not get my hair wet or use hair clips in this 2 day period as it can affect the look of the treatment. I have since been washing my hair once every one-two days with sulphate free products only and the treatment is still in my hair. I would recommend ogx's 'Brazilian keratin treatment' shampoo and conditioner, they have worked very well for me and are sulphate free. To make it last longer, you can use dry shampoo instead of washing, as it is recommended to only wash your hair maximum a few times a week as washing more frequently can cause the treatment to wash out quicker. Use on compromised hair/ does the treatment lighten hair? I will say that you should be careful using this on compromised hair, especially on fine hair, as the high heat can cause damage, the process made my ends slightly more brittle likely from the heat damage, and I cut off 1cm of damaged hair one month afterwards and that seemed to be enough to keep it sleek. My hair was also lightened multiple times prior to using the treatment using box dye a year ago, and this didn't cause any issues. I was also asked after the treatment if I had lightened my hair again, so maybe the treatment had caused the tone of my hair to lighten slightly, as I saw some people mention in the reviews, but I didn't personally notice much of a difference. Protein concerns: I also believed that my hair was protein sensitive and disliked protein before doing this treatment, as it has looked worse after using high protein products, so was worried to try this in case it made my hair ugly like protein sometimes does to my hair, but weirdly the keratin treatment was actually beneficial for my hair, and only caused positive changes in my hair.

Good results for small price
This is the first time I have used this product, I have previously had treatment done in Salons twice at £150 a time. I come across this on here and thought I would give it ago. Applying the treatment was time, although I applied to to thicker sections at a time than it mentions but applied well and I still had product left at the end. I had difficulty with the drying stage as it states that hair needs to be dry, which is difficult when having product on hair, my hair takes a long time to dry as it is. But I done the best I could. When straightening, again, I done bigger sections than stated, and it does smoke slightly due to product and I probably had more excess on there due to struggling with the drying. But I found going over sections not too slow and more times helped. When rinsing product off in the shower it felt so much better straight away, applied shampoo twice as first time didn't lather enough but much better second time and then applied provided conditioner. When started drying at a downwards angle without brush, it was drying so smooth and soft with a great shine. Finished off with straightening which took no time at all. End result, I am very pleased, my hair is smooth with no frizz, lovely and straight with a beautiful shine. Will await to see what my hair is like after a night's sleep. Looking at what shampoo and conditioner to purchase, to avoid sulfates and salt, have taken a look at kativa option, hasn't got great feedback but I have looked at the ingredients and it doesn't have the ones you should avoid. I think people are weary because there are alot of ingredients out there that are similar and they assume they are the same thing. Which they are not. So I think I'm going to give kativa shampoo and conditioner ago and see how I get on with it and decide for myself. Great value for what the end result is, fingers crossed it lasts a while with strict up keep, if so I would definitely buy again as it has saved me like £140

Does work
It works, I have frizzy full on curls. It has smoothed my hair out. It does make your hair smell bad, but after putting products in like serum and a hair gliss it went away. Will definitely purchase again. It does take ages to do, my hair felt awful when I blow dried the product in. It was very hard to manage. When you iron your hair it will smoke but the hair starts to feel smoother.

Amazing
It’s definitely worth it. The process takes some time so you have to be patient but the results are amazing. I made sure to shut my bedroom door and open the windows for ventilation because the fumes are strong. Just be mindful of smoke detectors since the chemicals can set off the fire alarm. 😊

It worked until my next hair wash.
Straightened my hair... Until I washed it? Followed all of the steps to the T - Straightened my hair and thought wow, it lasted until my next hair wash and then POOF, the curls were back with a vengeance. Don't know if mine was a dud or what. Feel like I wasted my money honestly.

Wow wow wow
what a game changer! My hair is long, thick and very frizzy. I've spent about 4 hours doing this treatment today and I've just rough blow-dried my hair and it's straight, shiny and not frizzy at all. It's a lengthy process and my arms and back are in agony now but absolutely worth it. Make sure you follow the instructions to a T, there are loads of videos on YouTube of people doing this so I followed those for extra help. Make sure you comb out as much excess product as you can before blow drying! You need a ventilated room, I was sat next to an open window when I was straightening the product into my hair but it set my smoke alarm off 4 times 😂 I'm so happy, it normally takes me 20 mins to dry my hair and 40 mins to straighten it, this rough dry took 5 mins and my hair looks perfect. This is going to save me HOURS!
