Can this be for single person also

I use mine solo just fine, You can position the rear seat a little further forward and adjust. The extra size helps if you're wanting to take some equipment with you :)

Does this the 2 person version have enough space for lightweight camping gear as well as 2 people?

I would say this kayak it is like sport kind rowing boat, so it is not stable, you need to get used to it. So before place anything in it just try it empty first. Of course it is possible to place some camping items in it, but will be not very comfortable to row when.

Is this kayak a single skin kayak or does it have an outer skin. Heard they can be a nightmare to dry if water gets between the two skins

This one has one skin, plus aliuminium frame inside. Dry quit easy, we been in Bourmouth area with it hot summer day so it dry in about 10-15min. Plus we have peace of dry rug with us so we dry it before place in angle on sun.

The title says 440cm 12’4” but details say 440cm 14’5”. Also max load states 128kg but aqua marina websites says over 210kg!

Hello, Its 440 cm and the max load is 210kg - that is correct. The Kayak is perfect for a rookie, its a little unstable at first sight but when you get used to it, it's great. The best feature is the speed of inflating or store. It's like around 5-8min and you are ready to go. BR =)
