I got this because I walk my dog at night in our neighborhood. I want drivers (and other walkers) to be able to see us on the sidewalk. I can clip it to my shirt, a jacket, or my dog's leash and head on out.I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something similar. It's easy, it works well, and it seems to be well made.Ease - I didn't have a problem at all getting it ready the 1st night. And the clip is small, but it works well.Brightness - It's great. My wife may laugh a bit when she sees me glowing as I head out the door, but hey...it's all good. Instant party for the dog walk!I've had it in rain and snow, and I haven't seen any problems. The battery seems to work fine, too. No problems in charging.All in all, I'd recommend it. Thanks for reading!

without reading other user reviews, got one for 10yr old to clip to back of life jacket while we are surfcasting for striped bass on beaches at nite so I can keep track of himWe have both been so happy with it that I actually took time to write a reviewin response to some of the unknown mentioned issues, this is what we found so farTo attach to life vest rather than wasting zip ties, use a Small water bottle carabiner/ clip holds it very securely Bought as we were going thru a glow stick every nite whether we fished for 1 hour or 8.This has been a much more flexible optionIt has been wet with saltwater several times, even thru a self- inflating life vest deployment, and withstood fresh water wash downs.The light it emits, esp green is extremely bright, even under bright moon conditions. Dark nites it has been almost too bright. plenty of light emits well thru the full length and with the easy twist off top the end emits enough to be used to light way when walking in emergencies when he lost his headlight in the ocean.To make charging easier was able to install a magnetic charger tip that we use on all of our various household electronics and the cap is able to securely lock on.has lasted and recharged within spec guidelines with no issues.Highly recommend

Received this as a gift and loved it so purchased some for others as gifts too. Great for evening walking in the neighborhood. Easy to charge and super lightweight. It’s got a nice flexibility. It doesn’t seem to be brittle. I hung it on a backpack while walking and it didn’t make any swinging noise. I like the color changing choices. I’ve not had to charge it too often so battery is good & lasts. I wish it had a clip like on a badge holder as an option for using it but I still really like it.I’ve bought other light sticks that run on button batteries & they don’t hold up to the life on these lights…thanks for another superb product Nite Ize!!

Purchased this for our son for a night light. It's great except not that long of battery life. Has to be charged more than once every 24 hours.

This is a great way to light up a tent for entering and exiting at night time. This thing lasted 9.5 hours on green. Blue light last about 7.5 hours and i don't use red or the blinker . I use the blue light when i go to sleep .............................Ya know when its 25 f outside at 4:13 a.m. and that ragger comes on and says hey !!!!!! Hit the head bro!....Nice to know exactly where my things are if i need to get up out of the tent. I will say the fact that it recharges off a power bank for long camping trips kicks Butt ....very well made.....still not going to submerge .

Just what I need.

Used these for Halloween with the rotation of light was able to monitor 10 kids. Also the kids like them. Battery life is about 8hr.

My young daughter was so sad that glow sticks didn't last for more than a day so I searched around and found this product. She is so happy with it! The wand part is a bendy rubber so it's not going to break easily. Rechargeable and flashes between the different colors. Definitely a hit!
