I bought 3 of these and will probably buy more at some point. I wish I'd taken glamour shots of all them. Especially after seeing that other photo of old looking chocolate someone else got a long time ago. Seems their quality checks have improved tremendously! Beautiful presentation and very giftable... 2 of my boxes were gifts. I ate from one box. Great think is there are 8 flavors and 16 pieces so it's shareable. And you can even share it between you and 3 others because all 16 pieces can be broken in half easily. Rich tasting chocolate. All taste good. Marzipan wasn't my favorite but was so awesome to try! Not sure where each piece is from in Europe. Back of box said they were made in Germany. Would recommend!

These chocolates are delicious, high-quality, and very affordable compared to the other boxed chocolate alternatives. They arrived fresh and well-preserved, with no damage from the shipping process, which is something a lot of other boxed chocolates have a problem with when you buy them from Amazon. The quality truly is top-notch. The dark chocolate flavors especially are rich and flavorful.However, this is not what I expected when I searched for boxed chocolates. I was looking for a gift for my wife that would look at least somewhat fancy. This is not your typical gift box of chocolates in which each truffle is individually socketed. The presentation and packaging is bland and utilitarian. The overall package looks compact and small, even though it contains quite a bit of the product.I would still highly recommend this as a gift for a loved one or a guilty pleasure for yourself. But beware, if you are buying this for someone who is used to more fancy presents, they might feel a bit underwhelmed when they first see this.

I first tried these Merci chocolates when they were given to me as a thank you gift. They are just perfect for that--nicely packaged, affordable but not cheap, and oh-so-tasty. There are different assortments that are available, and I think they are all wonderful. This particular assortment came with two each of eight different flavors.I like that these are individually wrapped so that you can savor them over time. At work, I kept my thank-you package in my desk and rewarded myself with two per day. It was a little sweet treat without going overboard. And since they were individually wrapped, I didn't have to worry overmuch about bugs.The Merci chocolate is rich and creamy and each flavor is distinctive. They are well worth the price, and I would love these as a gift for any occasion (and out of the blue is even better).

I can't believe I just said "Delightful!" but they are. The packaging is beautiful and makes them gift-worthy. I starting eating them slowly, one at a time then my husband ate almost half of the package in one sitting... yeah, he's like that. So, I split the rest of the package and we polished them off. Both experiences were DELIGHTFUL! They are so rich that one at a time is satisfying. Eating them faster with the different tastes and textures was a blast as well. They were under $6 when I bought them. Great value. Highly recommend!

Love German chocolates, even if I prefer bitter ones these days for health reasons, Merci is still a tasty choice. There is a good variety of different types, I like all of them except the Marzipan, but that's a personal thing.Problem was that they came partially dissolved and looking very bad, kinda grey. Had to get a refund. Not Merci's fault though. Just be aware that they may have been stored in adverse conditions, for a long while. They were not expired, but did not look good and not suitable as a gift (one wouldn't know until opening them!).

I got these as part of a valentines gift for my wife, not knowing if they're any good or not or if she would even like them. Not being a sweets fan myself, I could not get 2 packs and eat one to know before hand. So I got these along with some that I know she likes. These are now some of her absolute favorite of all chocolate on the market! I even tried one of the marzipan chocolates and was amazed at how smooth these are are that they aren't super sweet. I've never had a cholate that made me want more, until now.

This is a family favorite gift. Our friends rave about the silky smoothness of the chocolate.They love the variety of flavors.

Yes, these morsels simply melt in your mouth as your right hand grows a brain as fast as possible, it swoops up another Merci chocolate piece. And naturally, you glance down at the chocolates filled box only to see their ALL gone!Go order a few boxes. You won't regret it. Be sure to order just one for MIL, unless MIL is your Bestie order 2 then!
