Jameco BenchPro 95-Piece Professional Technician Tool Kit

I like the way that every thing is organized. I needed tools for a contract positionthat starts on 05/03/21 as an Electronics Engineering Technician.

Purchased to replace a tech tool kit that was stolen and insurance settlement was poor. This was the best I could get for the money I got. It doesn't have a complete set of sockets, only metrics. No combination wrenches. Ok for a starter kit, but the kit it replaced was worth $999!

This tool box has pretty much all I need outside of some specialty items I use as a Biomed Tech. That's the good part. The bad is that the jeweler's screwdriver plastic case was damaged and required repair to reattach the broken off hinge pin. The bag containing the distributer wrenches had several hole large enough to allow the wrenches to fall out. The bag is useless. The tool pallets are somewhat on the cheesy side and very flimsy. These pallets will require some reinforcement to remain stable inside the case. Same goes for the dividers used to separate the bottom of the case into individual compartments. The case is slightly dented in an outward direction from being bashed internally by one or more of the items which were not at all stabilized or protected during shipment. The small socket wrench set has no ends on the case allowing the end user to go on a bit hunt to locate everything that fell out of their case. Shipping was a little slow and I saw the price had dropped significantly after I had bought it and it was shipped. All in all I'm not really impressed with the quality of the cases and I reserve comment until I use the tools to judge their quality. As a late addition to the deficiencies in this product, ALL of the wrenches and sockets are metric. There are no standard wrenches or sockets in the set. The solder puller does not always cock because the tip is not designed properly. There should be a bevel inside so the metal pin which draws out the solder can properly set.
