With Covid, working parents just do a lot of one clicking to get supplies to keep their kids occupied. My 4 year old asked for a mermaid puzzle and 72 pieces seemed to be a surmountable challenge. I fell for the high ratings and decent price, and I’ve had a previous good experience with Crocodile Creek. But in these times, why design a puzzle with only light skinned mermaids who either have unnaturally colored hair or are blonde? Upon a closer look at the actual puzzle versus in my phone, I am mortified that I have helped reinforce that lighter skin and hair are more beautiful to my child. I have learned to take a second look at images before buying / showing them to my child. I am now her full time teacher, too. The puzzle seems to be sturdy enough. But I want brands and products that help me teach correctly and wisely

My kids have the 48 piece puzzles from crocodile creek which they love and have played with daily during this stay home order. So we though up the difficulty level and go with the smaller puzzles with more pieces. It was perfect that they had similar prints for cats and dogs which suited both kids perfectly. The puzzle pieces are sturdy and the colors bright and well printed. There is enough variation in the cat and dogs to confuse the kids a little but nothing overly daunting to frustrate them. I would say this would be more appropriate for 5yrs and older to do on their own. For the younger ones, go for the larger puzzles in their line.

We have several Crocodile Creek puzzles and we are always impressed by the quality of the materials and thickness of the pieces. The 72 piece monsters and animals puzzles are both favorites for our 3 year old. His 1 year old little brother can’t easily bend and break the pieces, so that’s a big plus in our house. Every piece has all “innies” or all “outies” so this puzzle will require more focus on matching the picture than the shape.

Overall I just really like Crocodile Creek in general. For preschool both my girls used their backpacks and they held up through 2 kids and are still going strong 7 years later! We also have several puzzles by Crocodile Creek! My kids just love them! Not only do they have great art work on them, but they are so well made. They are not cheap or flimsy! Definitely our favorite!

I have a few of the Crocodile Creek puzzles and I love them all. My kids are 5 and 7 and the pieces are sturdier than than the standard puzzle cheap cardboard. So they are more challenging than baby puzzles, but easier to manage (and not lose pieces) than the standard adult type puzzles. The images are vibrant and true to the box.

My toddler is obsessed with both puzzles and mermaids. She does this one on her own at 2.5 years old. she likes to make the mermaids separately: gets mad if we put the whole thing together. Its held up extremely well considering all its been put through. Even the piece my 10 month old ate was able to be smooshed back into place and still looks pretty good.

I absolutely love Crocodile Creek puzzles. This puzzle was great in terms of size, number of pieces and image. Our daughter had great fun with this. My only complaint is the quality of the material this puzzle was made of. Maybe we got a bad one but the pieces fit together very tightly (good for a puzzle); however, it was a mess trying to take the puzzle apart. We successfully ripped the top image off the thicker cardboard on several pieces and bent some trying to take the thing apart. I'll still buy Crocodile Creek, but this was a bit disappointing.

I love this brand of puzzle, the pieces are sturdy, the box is well made and no pieces were damaged upon arrival. I wish all kid puzzles were durable like this one. Added bonus, the puzzle is very bright and colorful and the print is adorable.

Great for kids to learn

Received it in a couple of days. Looking great, my son loves those highly colored funny puzzles. Will buy more from Corcodile Stuff, I also bought the 48 pieces day at the Museum, same opinion there.

Loved the quality of these puzzle and also how colourful they are. My granddaughter has a few of them and she is VERY good at them and only 3 1/2 years old!! They are quite expensive though

Crocodile creek puzzles are great quality. Bought this for my 3 year old, and he needs some assistance, but can largely do it on his own after a few times doing it together.
