It's a good energy drink and gives the buzz

As a casual energy drinker, not so freakish as to drink 2-3 a day or 5 a week like some mention, I've always looked for healthier and lower sugar energy drinks. Carabao may not be the healthiest but their lower sugar content, greater size, flavour and price makes this of exceptional value. The drink taste precisely as you would expect, the regular tangy energy drink taste with an apple aftertaste. I was afraid the low sugar content would mean making this taste like a sparkling water energy drink. However, the drink does well to quench my thirst, I think this taste as good or better than the competitors! Equally important, as was promised, I have not felt a caffeine/sugar crash typical for other drinks! The sugar content is supposedly half while still offering the desired caffeine kick. In all, there is tremendous value in this relatively new energy drink brand. I will happily buy more at this great price.

I saw the headline of low sugar and only 63kcal per can and ordered some on a lightening deal to try. I didn't realise that the second ingredient would still be sugar so that was a bit of a surprise, but at 63kcal I thought it was still reasonable as a occasional indulgence. The outerpackaging was fine. The inner cans were dirty, stained and dented. I didn't realise at first several of them had pin-hole splits. The first one I drank tasted rank as started with the dented cans to use them up, until I realised on the second can that they were actually perforated not just dented. Once I whittled down to the in-tact cans and tried one I found it was very enjoyable. Not as thick and cough-syrupy as other energy drinks, it was thinner, less cloying but packed with a citric acid punch that I found super tasty. Maybe they should do a sour version too! I've actually found myself using this as a replacement for my morning pour-over coffee once or twice on the hot days over the weekend as a refreshing caffeine hit. It's the opposite end of the spectrum from coffee in terms of taste, but it's a refreshing change for me.

Very refreshing, especially straight out of the fridge. I don't like red bull or monster. This gives me just the right left in energy & doesn't make me feel shaky. Calorie content is perfect too.

Literally my favourite energy drink, and an absolute bargain for the price. Gives a cleaner, nicer boost of energy unlike the other cheaper brands which feel "sharper" compared to this. The flavour is very on point with the 'green apple' labelling and this drink hits the perfect middle ground between being too flavoured to where it tastes chemically or lacking flavour to where it may taste watered down.
