A great product with very good sound quality, sufficient controls and a great price
Over the last year I decided to replace the super-cheap "stereos" I installed in the garage and work shops and used Pyle receivers throughout. Lots of noise pollution (air compressors, pneumatic tools, electric buffing wheels, etc) and all of the amps performed exceptionally well, even when pushing the volume. The speakers are modest, either Klipsch or Sony. I was so impressed with the receivers that I ordered another originally to keep my mother's Zenith console radio (1960!) working while the original tube chasses are restored. I could buy a bunch more Pyle receivers for what that restoration will cost. I subsequently decided to NOT restore the originals, hid the Pyle in the LARGE console interior and use the remote control. Looks and performs exceptionally well. I'm not sure I believe the power rating for these devices but the previous home owner dropped serious coin installing Bose speakers throughout the house and the amp on the receiver had no problem driving two pairs of Bose speakers 35 feet from the receiver as well as two local Klipsch bookshelf speakers (six speakers total). Absolutely no weak signals, no distortion or clipping. Note the in-wall speaker wires are as thick as an undersea cable. The other nice aspect of these receivers is the board has a fan which cools the decently sized aluminum heat sink. Very good bang for the buck.

Pyle PTA66BT
This receiver is not huge. It is very easy to set up and use. The power pushes our speakers to sound great. The price is a plus too. My husband and I would highly recommend the Pyle receiver considering we use it every day.

No stereo. But it's a decent unit for what it is... if you can live without stereo.
I've had this for about a week. I'm replacing an older Sony 7.2 surround audio video receiver. The old Sony unit was so complicated that I never really figured it out. So I wanted something simple. So I went from an 80 page manual that I never really figured out to a 5 page manual with almost no instructions. I knew going in that this wasn't going to be a Kenwood or a Onkyo or a Marantz. So I wasn't surprised at "entry-level-ness" quality and function. For the price, it's really not a bad unit if you know what you're getting. Which I didn't. It's called a "Stereo Receiver Amp".. however, IT IS NOT STEREO!!! There were a few reviews that said this, but I guess I didn't read them. So for that reason, this gets a single star. Misrepresentation is a non-starter. OK if you are going in without the expectation of stereo, then I would say this is a good unit for what it is. The remote stinks and is nearly useless. Read the other reviews about that. The way it forces you to switch to BT every time you turn it on stinks. Figuring out how to go through the various modes to get to BT is a little strange the first time because it never tells you what mode to put it in (turns out, it's MP3 mode and not AUX, but the manual doesn't tell you). It doesn't have AM (which I knew before I bought - so I won't hold that against them). I should have known it wasn't stereo when there was no L/R balance option. Another thing is that I wish it had 3 inputs in back instead of 2, but the work around is to run an AUX cable to the front 3.5mm jack. Also, it's hard to see the notches on the knobs so you may end up blowing out your speakers or eardrums when you turn it on and have to go through the FM tuner to get to BT. I was going to get some little white dot stickers to put where the notches are, but at this point I'm going to return the unit. I don't know what I'll get - I'm trying to power my whole-house speaker system - so 6 PAIRS of speakers was perfect. Bottom line, if you can live without stereo, this is not a bad unit. Love the BT. Seems to pair pretty good. I really like a lot about this. It really cranks loud - the sound is 6 on a scale from 0 to 10, but if you're not an audiophile, the a 6 is probably OK for you.

Great sound, annoying design
I'm pleased with the features and the sound quality, especially at this price. But this amplifier has some really annoying behaviours. I contacted Pyle support and they confirmed: yep, that's how it is. No way to change it. I wanted to put this amp out of sight and out of reach. I was going to control it exclusively from Bluetooth. This will not work. I can power it on and off by using a WiFi enabled electric socket. But when it comes on, it always starts set to Line-In. I MUST use the remote or physical buttons to select Bluetooth EACH time I turn it on. it doesn't remember that it was on Bluetooth when I turned it off. Secondly, the bluetooth devices can control volume. So I was going to set the hardware volume knobs quite loud, and use the volume control on my phone to adjust how loud it is. I'll just leave the knobs turned loud all the time. It does work this way. But the amplifier makes a chirp when it connects to a phone. And if your volume knobs are turned really loud, that chirp is really loud. You can't disable the chirp and you can't control the volume of it. When my music starts, it plays at a lower, tolerable volume. But that "chirp" connecting to the phone is really loud. Third, since the remote is a traditional infrared remote, you must have line of sight to the amplifier to use it. Nevermind that Bluetooth doesn't need line of sight, this dumb remote does. I was going to put the amp in an out-of-the-way place where it wouldn't be seen, but I can't use the remote if I do that. Lastly you can't pair your device with the amplifier until the amplifier is set on Bluetooth. In theory, they could have the Bluetooth always listening, always ready to pair, and then have the device automatically switch to Bluetooth if you start playing on Bluetooth. So electronically, it's great. I love the range of features. But I was mostly interested in Bluetooth, and it's a real let-down there.
