Works and oem
Used these on my 2009 ford focus. Its a great value for the pack since these are 4-5$ at an auto zone store. Quality seems good and i am happy with my purchase. Dont forget the install tool.

use heat shrink to mount them
These PTFE rings are enough to drive anyone insane. The warm water trick is just a distraction to aggravate you more. These thing won't actually "soften" until around 600 degrees F. So, don't bother. Don't try to mount these without protecting them from the threads first. You might think you've got it after you get it over the first thread and then follow the threading around until it sits at the bottom, but what you may not immediately realize is that you just sliced the crap out of the seal and it WILL eventually leak, like mine did. You MUST protect the seal from the sharpness of the threads while going on. I've heard people having luck with electrical tape. I used heat shrink. It worked great. I heated up all sides until I could see the threading imprint. I let it cool a bit, lubed it up with transmission fluid, and then the seal slid right on without any force or complaint.

It's what you need. But do you need 25?
So a 25 pack is just a slight cost difference from a single seal. So now I have 25 seals for a repair I'll probably do once in my life. Guess that's a good value?

Just what I needed
I'm not sure what was going on with the seals from autozone, but I tried 3 on an F-150 power steering pump and all 3 became out of round in the tightening process making them not seal. At the end of my ropes I decided to order these. I figured I'd have plenty of chances for it to align properly. I didn't even need that many though. I could tell right out of the package they were a stiffer and better quality. The first one went on and held its shape all on the first go around. THESE THINGS ARE AWESOME!

Good price
Easy to put on with a little lube you have to stretch it a little

Awful
My experience was awful with these. I tried installing these on the pressure line of a 09 ford focus. They are brittle, warp easy and do not return to shape when stretched to get over the treads. I tried for hours and went thru half the bag with nothing but pinched off broken seals. Everything seal I tried something a little different and followed everyword of advice I could. Soaked them in water, made a tool to stretch them over the threads, then I tried just threading them on and so on. I have never felt so offended by such a poor design.

These work great on the FORD High Pressure Power Steering hoses
Heat them up in a cup of hot water (I put y water and cup in the microwave for about 4 minutes) then carefully stretch over the tube of a funnel. Quickly install then on the hose fitting, then reshape then by pushing in on them to the fitting. Let them set for a little bit before installing the line fitting together to make sure they have shrunk back down to the proper size.

Good quality, good value
Good quality, better than the dorman ones at the parts store. Make sure you study how to install these. What I did was take a long funnel, marked the point at which it reached 16mm. I then hot water soaked the washer and slid it up the funnel to stretch it to 16mm. It then just barely fit over the line fitting, had to carefully work it over each thread. After letting it sit overnight, it contracted down to the fitting pretty well.

Used on power stearing pump pressure line on 2004 F150 5.4. Seems to be sealing fine.
