This bag is exceptionally well made. Because it is nylon and not leather, it is also very light, and easy to wipe down if a spill should get on it. The details in the design make it really stand out. All of the zipper pulls have a satin finish and a uniquely friendly feel. Now that I have it in my hands, I realize how superior it is to the cheap bags that I have been purchasing. In my opinion, this bag is the perfect size - neither too small nor too large. There are lots of zippers and pockets and places for all of my items, including a slip-in pocket with a magnetic snap closure which is perfect for my cell phone. The lining is lovely and the center compartment of this purse is very roomy and well gusseted for expansion. Everything about this little bag is attractive, the fabric the hardware, the tiny logo on the front. You will not be disappointed if you buy this bag

Love this brand and rely on it for travel but I also like them for everyday. The gold hardware was a new to me choice. It really elevates the bag and allows for a dressier look. Although it looks to be on the smaller side- the interior widens at the bottom which allows for expansion to accommodate bulkier items like a water bottle or a small collapsible umbrella. When empty it is quite flat and easy to pack if needed. Plenty of organization is built in with exterior double closure wallet section, and several other zippers/areas. Can’t wait to bring it on my next trip!

There are so many great things about this bag. It has many slots, and spots to organize everything. It is so hard to find the perfect bag that is not too big, not too small, and will hold what you need to carry without being too heavy. This is all of that for me. I think it is cute as well, not as plain as some bags I was looking at. The slots are the right size to easily grab a card at the checkout quickly. The zippers perform well and do not get caught. It is a very good quality bag that will last for years. I really like that the front compartment zips closed and also has a flap that secures down. Your valuables are safe and secure and will not fall out. What I don't like about it: The strap is so slippery it is difficult to keep it on your shoulder when you are using the bag as a shoulder purse. I ordered a strap grip and that is helping but it isn't perfect. If they made the strap in a different fabric, it would really be perfect. Edit. I gave up on the strap and ordered a canvas one. It is making all the difference. Huge improvement. I’m not sure why this manufacturer provides such a slippery strap, but I really did not care for it. I absolutely love this purse and it doesn’t even show any wear after all this time, but it really needed an upgrade on the strap!

Nice purse, holds a lot, but compact size. Great for walking in cities, etc., when you want a crossbody, secure bag. (FYI, I almost never give 5 star, so 4 star is a compliment.)

This is my second Bagalini Calais. It is the perfect size for a cross body/ shoulder bag. The built in secure wallet holds everything i need securely. The main bag area is spacious and easily holds eyeglasses and all the other essentials i take with me. There are zippered pockets and a dedicated handy slot for my cell. I have a large cellphone and it fits easily in the pocket. I highly recommend this purse for travel or everyday use.

I am very happy with my new Baggallini Calais crossbody bag. I have another Baggallini bag and knew it had the quality I wanted. The Calais has many secure zippered sections and lots of pockets, a key leash - so I know where my keys are, a built in RFID wallet and a special pocket that easily holds my iPhone 16 Pro and is easy to access. It has a back pocket with snap to hold my lipstick, lotion, hair ties and nail file for which is convenient. I chose the shimmery silver color and love it. It’s a great neutral. It is lightweight and can be wiped off or washed. It holds everything I need, including two pairs of glasses, with a little room to spare.

I have several Baggallini bags, but this is the perfect one for travel. Perfect size; comfortable to carry and the compartments are well thought out. Fits everything I need.

I own a lot of Baggallini bags -- more than I'd like to admit -- and this is one of my favorites. The crossbody style is great for travel to keep my belongings secure, but I also like it for everyday use to free my hands. The organization with all the pockets is better than some since all the spaces are useful and logical. I can fit everything I want inside. The RFID-protected outer pocket with slots for cards, bills, and passport is welcome, although it does add weight to the bag; it closes with a zipper and then a metal twist clasp for extra security. In addition to the wallet outer pocket described above, the bag has an outer zippered pocket and a snap-closure slip pocket in the back. Inside, it has a zippered pocket, an elastic for a pen, and a wide-open space. The crossbody strap is adjustable to convert from various crossbody lengths to a shoulder bag. As with all Baggallinis, I love that the strap is wide and thick enough to keep thieves from easily slashing or breaking it; it connects to the bag with metal clips that are impossible to release if you are wearing it. I love that I can choose to stick my wallet inside or lighten my load even more by using the RFID-protected pocket as my wallet. As a frequent traveler, I usually choose a color base to my clothes -- black or blue -- and the navy is perfect for when I go with blue for my trip. It matches everything. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I love the colour of this bag! I have 3 other Baggalini bags all in black. This colour is gorgeous for warmer weather and I have matching colour shoes and watch band. I have a couple of Uniqlo tops and bottoms that work perfectly with this coooru too. The functionality of Baggalini bags is beyond question, they are perfect and SAFE. Possible improvements? I would prefer the bag strap to be made of cut-proof thick strapping rather than this lighter weight strapping. We travel a lot in retirement and this gives me piece of mind in crowds. I hesitated purchasing for a while because I wasnt a love of the twist clasp on the front (maybe a bit old fashioned?). But I am so glad i bought this bag and I have used it constantly since it arrived. I have bags in different sizes up to backpacks. THis is my everyday bag when I dont need to carry water bottle or umbrella but I am happy to see I can fit small versions of both inside this bag if needed. 5*

This tiny bag has a lot of compartments for easy access and storage. I especially love the easy access phone pocket. You can fit quite a bit of things for it's size.

I love that it’s compact but still so organised it has a space for everything important. Totally hands free when you have to search for keys or cards. Large phone no problem instant access reading glasses and sunglasses in cases both fit this little bag does it all. For me it a perfect choice. I own the sterling Shimmer and now the shiny black leopard print. Very happy with my choices.
